Subject: So I just finished Mass Effect 2

Karma-wise, I went Paragade, as I did in Mass Effect 1.

Only person to die was Jack. I didn't have enough Paragon or Renegade to regain her loyalty after her argument with Miranda, is that why?

Chose to keep the Collector Base intact. Don't really trust the Illusive Man but he was so damn convincing and the Reapers and Martin Sheen and...

But hey, overall, considering it was a suicide mission, at the end I was like

Discuss your own ending to ME2 (no ME3 spoilers pls)

I got most of the squad killed on my first playthrough lol

Then on my second I did everything right and got no one left behind

And now on current replays I sometimes let certain squadmates die on purpose for the sake of drama and seeing how it ends up in Mass Effect 3

yeah this reminds me of the time i got sent to jail for stealing crocs from target becozs i wanted all of the colors because i only got the green wons for my birthday and i wanted more ;)

Full paragon, everyone survived, destroyed the base.

Did you pick Jack to keep up the shield from the harvesters (forggeten their names, you the little collector's bugs) If you pick her to do that, without her loyalty then she dies.

  • 01.07.2013 7:44 AM PDT

On my first playthough I had like...4-5 people die because I just thought it wouldn't really do anything other than waste my time. Big mistake.

Jack blew up. Legion got fried. Miranda got shot. Tali got crushed and Garrus got taken away by seekers. And Garrus was my bro. :(

So I tried it again and like you say. It went better than expected. Tali still died though...stupid -blam!-.

Full paragon, pretty much everyone survived and I destroyed the base.

First time I played ME2 everyone lived on the suicide mission, I was so happy.

Then I put a bullet in Tali's head.

Nope, I had Samara do that. Jack was with everyone else defending the door while Grunt, Zaeed and I went to destroy the base (which I ironically didn't end up doing).

I have played ME2 through about 3 times and every time I saved everyone, I think I chose the Paragon option for all of them.

I am the Thorian, known as Species 37 to you people. I am an ancient sentient plant that is fifty thousand years old. My ability to hibernate for thousands of years makes my real age impossible to guess though you are welcome to try.

First time I played it almost everyone died. Around 5 survivors I think. However on my later play-through's everyone has survived.

Infection in Halo 3 isn't zombie killing; it's ethnic cleansing. Have you ever noticed that these "zombies" are just black Spartans?

It's been a long time since I looked over the actual calculations but Jack might've survived if you hadn't taken Grunt and Zaeed with you. Along with Garrus, they're your heavy hitters and increase the score which determines who survives whilst they "hold the line." As your score gets lower (by taking them with you, or otherwise losing them), the weaker members get knocked off one by one (die). I don't know how an unloyal Jack would work out in that situation though.

By taking some squishier members to the final boss (but not Jack - anyone not loyal will die after the battle, guaranteed), you might've been able to get her out alive.

First playthrough:

The mission went brilliantly. Samara was carried off by seeker swarms and Jack was killed after the Human-Reaper fell.

So nothing of value was lost.

I can understand not liking Jack, but Samara?

For the Jack/Miranda argument, make sure you have a full paragon or renegade bar before doing it. If you don't, side with Jack because Miranda lives if you choose her for team leader reguardless of loyalty.

It's easy enough to get if you save one of their loyalty missions for last and upgrade your class

I do not want to stop asking. I do not ask to stop wanting.

First playthrough: Everyone lived, half half for P/R, Saved the Base.

I was actively putting points in both sides, so I only got up to about 4 bars Paragon and 2 bars Renegade, last I checked (memory may be wrong).

It has to be full for a few things. Resisting Morinth's mind control aswell as the Jack/Miranda and Tali/Legion arguments

C'mon, apart from the ending, surely 3 isn't that bad?

I don't know the ending of 3 by the way, so don't tell me.
