inb4 OP breaks his brand new phone.
It's surprisingly difficult to break your phone by flashing roms/kernels. Could you softbrick it so it boot loops and you can't use it? Sure. But then you just boot into recovery mode and reflash the correct files.

Source: I can't tell you how many times I've done a bad flash on my phones. Hundreds?
And even if something goes horribly wrong, and you can't flash via recovery, you can always use Odin to flash a stock firmware image back.

Yep. It's pretty fool-proof. As long as OP doesn't dunk it in the toilet, he'll be okay.

So it makes your phone faster?

So i searched up some videos. And the people on show how to clear your galaxy, But not how to put the ROM on the galaxy.

Have you installed Clockwork or TWRP for a recovery? If not, go download Rom Manager [will flash Clockwork recovery] or Goo Manager [will flash TWRP] to do that.

Once you do that, download the appropriate ROM file [for Cyanogenmod, use get.cm]. You will also need the corresponding gapps file. Goo Manager will let you download both of these through the app.

FAIR WARNING: ANYTHING YOU DO NEXT WILL DELETE YOUR APPS, TEXTS, ETC.

Then, just reboot into recovery, pick the files to install [start with your rom, then gapps], then reboot.

Giggity Giggity Goo - Quagmire

On the topic of Galaxy S3's U.S. Cellular just released the jelly bean update to mine. There is now a new volume setting in addition to the original three and it is system volume. There was already Ringtone, media, and notifications so does anyone know what this volume option actually changes?
