Subject: How do I make time go slower?

So yeah I think that right now time is going by way too quickly. I just got back to to school after a 2 week break and it doesn't feel like I was ever off. I am still getting to grips with it being January because it seems like November or even October was jus last week, and I can still remember New Year's Day 2012, heck even 2011, like it was yesterday, and undoubtedly the end of the week will be here in no time. I don't like this because I just got back to school and I like school, and even though I have 3 years left I don't want those 3 years to slip away in what seems like seconds.

So Flood, what can I do to perceive time slower?

There is no way to avoid this. I suppose I could suggest trying new things, because if you just follow the same routine day in and day out, time really flies...but that only does so much.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Comedy is no excuse for our own blasphemies.
Mass media, Mass pessimism, Mass Denial.
My television tells me to panic, but I don't think I'll listen.
The apathetic force us to persevere, with their backwards priorities.

If entering deep space makes time faster, go to the opposite end.

You also need to lose mass in order to travel closer to the speed of light.

Read up on General Relativity as how the actual mechanics work. Most advanced universities have a programs to learn this. Just get into Stanford, MIT or the like, and take the courses. Its pretty easy to get in and understand.

The main thing you can do to slow down your subjective sense of time is to have more new experiences. Your brain saves space by mushing similar experiences together, and school is particularly bad for this because of how similar your week to week schedule is. But when you do something for the first time, your brain stores it in much more detail. The more new things you do, the longer the year will seem in retrospect.

CamCamm: How does that work?
Godshatter: I'm easily aroused by anything that moves. It's a curse.
Brain says 'No, that's ugly', body says 'ugly is fine with me'.
