For all questions with answers unknown to you, the proper procedure is to assume the answer is peanut butter.

While that may be true, I'm just going to pretend otherwise.

I might be moving soon, and I'd like to do as much research as I can beforehand. I don't know what is available, so if anyone can give me a list of the best Internet providers and their best packages, I would greatly appreciate it. I'll probably end up calling each company anyway, but I wanted the Flood's opinion. You guys know your Internet, right?

Please do not send me group invites.

None. They all screw you over in different ways.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

I am pleased with ATT U-Verse, but would probably jump ship to Verizon FiOS if it were offered.

First of where do you Live?

My first account is T1d3, if you are trying to contact that account please contact this one instead.

Yes I am a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, and no I am not a ban wagon fan.

live down south? go with Bright House. It is so cheap and I have never had a problem. They will come out for service calls for free and only charge if they actually have to repair something. It is great.

First of where do you Live?

I'm from the US. I don't know what will be available in my area, so anything will be helpful. I basically just want a list of Internet providers from best to worst that I can go down and contact the company to see what's available.

To Old Man Recon: I'll look into both of those. Thank you.

Apparently, there isn't much available in that area. Hughes Net is available, but I wanted to know what the Flood says about the specs of their product.

Download speed: 15 Mbps
Upload: 2 Mbps
Monthly download allowance: 20 GB + 20 GB during bonus hours, 40 GB total

Also, what do they mean by monthly download allowance? My Internet will mostly be used for the Flood and Xbox, and I don't download games or movies on anything but Xbox. Is that enough?

Opinions are like butholes. Everyone's got one, nobody wants to hear about it.

Time Warner Cable.

If you're moving down to the south then the best you could get would probably be timewarner cable. It's horrible at times but not many other choices.

If I am not mistaken, Hughes Net is a satellite provider. As such, the inherent (built-in) latency would make it impossible to game with.

I am guessing that you're not in a very urban or suburban area?

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

This is my internet result with Comcast, I don't know what package or deal it is that I use though.
I've heard that Verizon FiOS was supposed to be really good though.

Red vs Blue Fan. Doc is the best!

I use Comcast Xfinity. Idk how good it is. I DL games on Steam at 2.2 MB/s

Nope. Middle of nowhere now, or soon to be. Bright House is also available in that area. I can get Road Runner Turbo through it. Would that be better for gaming?
