"I would kill to get a killionaire... 10 times... digitally."
The Game. Quite possibly the most infuriating, yet entertaining, concept ever concocted. Billions play it. The Game spans all forms of media, culture, and language. This thread will serve as the Floods focal point for all things "Game". Be sure to share your stories and tactics!
The Rules:
The Game operates off just three simple rules. These are simple and easy to follow and explain, allowing for you to enjoy the mind suppression mayhem.
Rule Number 1: Everyone is playing The Game. Some people just don't know it yet. Anyone can lose the game. Anyone.
-This rule makes sure no one can "back out".
Rule Number 2: If you think about The Game, you lose.
-No one can win The Game in a traditional sense. You "win" by not thinking about it, as it is an eternal everlasting struggle against yourself and your peers.
Note: You can lose an indefinite amount of times.
Rule Number 3: If you lose The Game, you must announce it in a way that someone may hear or acknowledge it.
-This helps spreads The Game around. It also makes it deliciously evil. Mmmm... Cinnamon.
-Any way of getting the message across that "You lost The Game" is exceptable. Yell it out, text a friend, hold a sign in a busy area or even Write a whole thread about it. :3 So long as other people are made aware, you're good to go.
Optional Rule Number 4:
A grace period of time may be given to any player who loses The Game and can't stop thinking of it. During a grace period, said player can't lose The Game and does not have to announce that they have lost if they think of The Game
-Grace periods often last between 30 seconds and 5 minutes. This gives the player time to stop thinking of The Game and avoid insanity.
Note: Players may not use grace periods to effectively "back out" of The Game.
Use this thread to discuss stories involving The Game, tactics on how to avoid or bring The Game to those around you. It may be a mind suppression game, but remember to have fuYOU JUST LOST THE GAME.
