Hello there Flood. I recently got the Mass Effect Trilogy, and I've started a playthrough of the first one with the intent of carrying my Shepard through all three games. I've played one and two before, but never any of the dlc, save for Bring Down the Sky. So this time around, I was thinking about picking some up to have a more complete experience.

My question is: Which DLCs are worth the purchase for ME 2 and 3? (I've heard nothing but mediocrity from Pinnacle Station, so I've already decided to skip it.)

Thanks in advance for any input, and just in case, no ME3 spoilers please. I haven't played it yet.

Bring Down the Sky is good, but has little impact on ME2 and ME3.

I would work on your assumption skills.

I've actually heard that From Ashes is pretty good(shedding light on some previously murky lore, etc.), though it really should be half the price it is now.

Lair of the Shadow Broker is a must

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Overlord, Lair of the Shadow Broker, Bring Down the Sky and From Ashes are the only good DLCs (the latter shouldn't even be a bloody DLC). Arrival and Leviathan are okay, Kasumi and Zaeed are poor, and Firewalker, Pinnacle Station and Omega are simply ABYSMAL.

Pretty much all of it is worth it for Mass Effect 2

From Ashes and the Extended Cut are worth it for Mass Effect 3. Leviathan is questionable and Omega is 100% absolutely -blam!- not worth it

Best story DLC in order:

ME1:
Bring Down the Sky

ME2:
Lair of the Shadow Broker
Arrival
Overlord

ME3:
Leviathan
Omega
From Ashes

Proud member of the Herd

I heard leviathan was something to behold, I wouldn't know for sure, as I haven't played it though.
