Now don't get me wrong, I love me some zombies, but after watching most of the first season (it was a while ago, they got to the CDC or whatever that place was and then... ahem, left for some reason) and I just wasn't really feeling it.

I know this show has a huge following, but I just couldn't really get into it, any of you feel the same way, or did and then started liking it? Sorry for incoherent rambling, its been a while.

Really?

Those five minutes were cliched/predictable as -blam!-

“I didn't want to wake up. I was having a much better time asleep. And that's really sad. It was almost like a reverse nightmare, like when you wake up from a nightmare you're so relieved. I woke up into a nightmare.”

Season 2 was real good, season 1 was too cheesy.

Maybe drama isn't your type of movies? The Walkin Dead is the best drama series not the best series.

No, I prefer drama to shooting/action, it just felt cliched/cheesy

Well you don't really list your problems with it, so I can't really help.

in·dif·fer·ence
the fact or state of being indifferent; lack of care or concern and empathy demonstrated by an absence of emotional reactions.

Season 1 was alright.
Season 2 was meh.
Season 3 is awesome.

I do as best I can in the comments, basically it felt cheesy, predictable and unrealistic.

well then it's just your preference. That's nothing someone can change. I thought Season 2 was better ( haven't watch 3 ). But Season 3 has little action till the end but it involves alot of conflicts that different groups of people encounter in an acopylipse realistically. And that's what I like about it. It is realistic as it can be and shows the different conflict that will occur. Honestly it's a matter of preference and you may hate or love Season 2.

I am the Carpet man they talk about... I jump from star to star, I walk it out.

I just started watching yesterday and I'm enjoying it, but if you got through the first season and didn't like it then maybe it's just not your type of show. I feel the same way about Breaking Bad.

No point in putting something funny, clever or informative here. Most probably im going to get perma-banned anyway.

I dont blame you. The first 2 seasons are nothing to be amazed about. In season 3 it barely starts getting better.

The human element always mucks things up.

You should quit while you're ahead. The second season is beyond boring.

Hahahaha, I really like Breaking Bad! Though I'm still on the same season, perhaps TWD just isn't for me then.

They left because they were forced.

But really, Seasons 2 and 3 only get better imo.

But as for why people like it, I think it's because it's (as far as zombies go) "realistics", in that with few exceptions, anyone can die, and that they're looking for food, water, etc and not just hiding places / guns.

Also, the series explores human psychology, especially in the latter seasons.
