Just thought I'd create this to help curb multiple threads on the same subject. Interesting this week, can't wait for the Graphic Novel to be released.

Also interesting was the mention of a few UI features - looks like Bungie is really streamlining everything. Sounds great!

True, any news aside form "Halo 3 is cancelled" would generally be good. Ha!

It was good, although I didn't really understand this statement-
As it stands now, the interface is designed to make it very simple to get to a "lobby" and make all necessary changes from there - so that you can customize your experience, appearance, and more importantly, really specific game types from anywhere.

I didn't understand what he ment by customizing your Experience.

Umm... invert control? speed sensitivity? difficulty in single player? I dunno, there's a ton of way to change your experience in Halo...

i hope they up the sensitivity in the in game menu, like say, your playing coop on legendary and your friend wanted to get a weapon that he accidentally dropped at a checkpoint but it isnt there... The sensitivity on the 'pause' options was horrendous.. it had to jam the thumbstick up three times before it moved... and no it wasnt the controller because we were playing wireless on the 360.

What the hell does dropping a weapon have to do with look sensitivity?

Yeah, the new UI sounds sick, up till this point I never even thought of the UI they were gonna have in the game, but even if it's just as good as the Halo 2 UI, I'll be happy

I'm really pleased that the ability to change gametypes completely from the lobby made it in there. I actually send David an email about that 6 weeks or so ago. Apparently he agreed that it'd be a useful addition. Either that, or great minds think alike ;-)

I think he meant the sensitivity of the pause menu, not the look sensitivity.
