Either Chevrolet or Chrysler/Dodge.

I know of 2 people who have (or had) a new Ram 1500. One of them sold it at about 20,000 km because it was a -blam!-box, and another one has torque box issues at 10,000 km. I also had a co-worker who had a Caliber, and the transmission took a major dump at 90,000 km. A $10k fix. He didn't even bother.

Also, the Consumer Reports magazine seems to have a little disliking towards Chevy, not to mention they look and feel cheap as -blam!-.

My experience is quite the opposite of yours.

I sold my old 1995 Chevy K1500 Z71 when it had a touch over 250,000 miles . The only things we replaced were filters, a transmission, and a tension pulley over the life of the vehicle while in our posession. Its one of the best trucks ever made , and last i checked, the guy we sold it to uses it every day with no problem, and its still trucking along with over a quarter million miles.

I now own a Dodge Ram 1500 hemi, and its rapidly closing in on 100 thousand miles without a hitch. We also own a Dodge dually with a Cummins, and the darn thing wont die. Pulls like a freight train and still gets 20 mpg in a 8000 lb truck.

Weve had problems with Ford vehicles, but chevy and Dodges we've had are darn near indestructable.

Lamborghini

Makes you think twice about dropping $350,000 on a piece of plastic that can't keep itself running.
Keeping it running isn't your biggest concern, it's a fiery death that you should worry about.

Pshh its all wheel drive. And I always ALWAYS obey speed limits.

Our dodge was a beast and a half. Never had a problem with it.

It doesn't matter if you crash it or not.

Every car is reliable if you take care of it. Problem is most people are absolutely car retarded.

However, there are certain ones that are prone to needing more work done on them. Lincolns and Mercurys are prone to needing upkeep off the top of my head.

Also working on foreign cars sucks. If there's a stupid design to be had, it'll be in a foreign car.

Japanese and European cars are the worst to work on. Over designed so much that it ends up taking a crap load more work than it should to do something simple.

As for reliability, it is more about the owner than anything. Treat the car right and look after it and it will be reliable.

Brainwashing, idiotic media: "hur dur, vido gaems cas vilenc n iz nt gud. dey ned 2 b baned."

Logic: Really? Then please explain how there's violence in third world countries. I guess they're all poor due to the large amount of video games they buy.

Asian car manufacturers are just meh to me.

I suppose it's all experience too. I totally forgot our Caravan we used to have. Not sure how many km it was, but I think it was over 200k. My Ferd has just over 55k km, no problems at all, but it's still young and fresh.

I think my hatred for Dodge comes from a large chunk of the drivers who drive them: like -blam!- idiots.

I would say because most people here are American, where we do not even see Russian made vehicles.
