I've been thinking up ideas on how to make a good wallpaper for the contest. The problem is, I don't exactly know how to make one. I have photoshop deluxe but I don't know how to make a wallpaper on that.

Thank you for the help,

Rokit

It's a bit hard to say "this is how you make a wallpaper". So first of all, make sure you have a basic idea of what you want your wallpaper to look like. Oni based, Halo theme? A combination. Perhaps a collage of pictures, etc. Second, be sure that you are a bit familiar with photoshop. try out the features it has. After that it's experimenting, and trying to create something that looks like your original concept.
Sorry this sounds vague, but there unfortunately isn't a feature in Photoshop that says "make wallpaper'. A bit more info on the type of wallpaper you want to make helps as well.

I just don't know which to click on.

There's-Greeting Card, Signs and posters, Banners, Certificate, Stationary, Calender, Labels and extra. I just don't know which one to choose. Thank you for your help though.

I don't have photoshop Deluxe self (I use another version), so can't tell you how that works. However, it isn't really a matter of selecting a certain option. It really is a matter of drawing/cut&paste/filtering etc.
You could check various photoshop tutorials online. I'll try to answer as much as possible myself, but I do need some more details regarding your concept.

Thanks for your help. But unfortunatly I've been screwing around with my version and there is no way I could make a wallpaper with my verision. My bro recommended paint shop so I guess I'll just say screw it. Ah well, I gave it a try.

What the hell is Photoshop Deluxe? There are version 1 to 7 then CS and CS2 but I've never heard of Photoshop Deluxe. Are you sure it's realy an Adobe Photoshop product? And if you want tutorials to help you I know 2 good sites:

He probably means photoshop elements (not delux). Elements is a downgraded consumer version of photoshop.
