This might get locked like the other one, but I think a reasonable discussion can happen here.

I think Bungie hasn't released anything due to the fact they released too much before Halo 2 was released. I don't want to hear anything, if Bungie doesn't want to release anything, fine by me. I'd rather learn everything while playing the game. If they do release something significant, I pray it will not be Campaign related, I wish to know nothing of the story until I am playing the game myself. If they do release something, let it be Multiplayer only. That way it will show off graphics, weapons, gameplay without telling anything story related. Works for me.

I'd prefer it if bungie only gave us a screenshot or movie every, like, 3 or 4 months up until right before release, where it's a non-spoiler (multiplayer) media bonanza.

that way, nobodies like OMG HYPE HYPE HYPE OMG IM DISSAPOINTED BECAUSE MY UNREALISTIC FANTASIES FOR HALO 3 DIDNT COME TRUE! i mean, obviously it will still happen, but maybe it can be contained :p

I feel they revieled a good amount of information for Halo 2 (be it false information). I would like to see maybe 1 level that isnt incredibly story significant or revealing of the game played, and i would like to see some multiplayer footage on maybe a revamped Halo 1 or 2 map.

Halo's a hell of a drug.

How did they release too much info on Halo 2. No one knew what it was going to be like for campaign mode. I never heard once that you would play as an Elite. I never heard once that the ending would be a cliff hanger.

I say release the info like they did for H2. It won't ruin anything. Those who don't want to see it should avoid the updates.

I know I was shocked when I was fighting with elites in 'The Heretic'

I am comparing it to what they are doing now. They have released basically nothing except for an announcment (like we didn't think Halo 3 was going to be released, too much money to be made there).

im sure many people would agree with me when i say that all i want are a few screenshots showing off some of the engine and renders of OLD, as in already playable, vehicles. nothing but showing the graphics upgrade. theres nothing wrong with that is there?

I agree with fargoth. Maybe some vehicles, maybe an upgraded multiplayer map.

Actually they showed a trailer where they said "It was the apocalypse" and terms to show the world was in very bad shape, when all you do is two levels in Earth.
Then they said halo 2 was going to be on earth, didn't happened since they chanched the whole story, also released a E3 2003 Demo on a level in Earth wich seemed better than Outskirts Metropolis and on.
Never happened, showed that the BR was a 3 burst shot when un-zoomed and 1 shot when zoomed, never happened, the point is people got dissapointed about everything they showed didn't happened, so it's better not to show alot of stuff and leave them make it the way they want it to be.
