Have you guys ever played Day of Defeat Source? It's one of the mods for CS: S.

The level designs for Turf that you guys want in Halo 3 sound exactly like some of the levels from DoF:S. They're well balanced and fun and have a building-to-building type feel.

Hang Em High, bigger, though.

I also want... Coag. But with massive trench systems, and bigger bases.

They have to bring back Hang Em High, it was one of the best places to battle it out in Halo one and it had all the best weapons. Well at least in my point of view.

I agree, Hang 'Em High was an awesome map, especially for a snipers match.

arguments turn into battles and battles turn into wars,dismantle the arguments and everything is fine.

The bungie team should have a map that is wide open like waterworks but outside and about 5 times bigger with about 10 buldings, and underground there is a series of tunnels that go from one building to another, but has ladders to get to them so you don't have to go into the buldings. this map would probably reqire 16 people on each team. This would be so the map has places where people can be their best at, instead of being in the open always be headshoted...or shot in the gut with some shotgun pellets.

Oh, I loved Midship and Elongation.

Lockout
I think this level should be expanded with some tunnels inside the cliff.

Hang Em High
Some underground tunnels and better weapon placement. Maybe have some damage to it.

Midship
Expand the level to include more than just one room and level. Maybe make it connected to a covenant hangar

Rat Race
Add a little bit more to this map, i like the layout, but it is a little bland.

Chill Out
Maybe the falls flooded the map and there is alot of water in the lower sections of the level.

Foundation
"Add the improved, balanced version seen in Halo 2 CE..." With some added structures on top, and maybe expand the bases in the corners a little.

Turf
Make the buildings accessible, with maybe some turrets in windows and such.

Chiron TL34
Dont bring this map back.

Derilect
Battle damage.

Blood Gulch/Coagulation
In the tunnels, add a whole that leads to another canyon or add bases in the sides of the cliffs.

Wizard/Warlock
Dont bring it back. Its a very plain map that isnt easily balanced.

Waterworks
add a waterfall from the top to the bottom, and maybe destroy the machine in the center. Or you could possibly crash a covenant cruiser into it.

Boarding Action
Add turrets to each side, make one ship covenant and the other human w/ some battle damage

New Maps

Reconcile
This would include some parts of truth and reconciliation including the lift. It would also include the ground beneath the ship at the lift with a downed pelican with ammo.

Crossover
If you recall the bridge on the Delta Halo level you have to extend, then that is similar to this level. There is a bridge that must be extended. Each side controls half the bridge and you must extend it from both sides to utilize it. Each side has a base and there is a single file brdges that crosses down within the canyon from tunnels. This would be a large map and banshees would be required to get to the other sides, or pelicans.

Dark Jester 86 is the Gamer tag.

Every one and I have reasons why:

1. Containment: Probably the biggest for al the people that like big maps
2/3. Coagulation/Blood Gulch: It's a classic
4/5. Beaver Creek/Battle Creek: It is excellent for 4 on 4 because of all the weapons on it, and visibilty.
6. Relic: It's an Island and has a unique "throw the flag off the side" gameplay.
7. Timberland: Because it has a nice outdoors feeling to it.
8. Infiniti: It had unique land marks and looks war torn.
9. Ice Fields: It was a perfect and provided alot off cover and sneak attacks.
10. Danger Canyon: Had nice bridges for some running and nice knock off the edge battles.
11. Death Island: Under water fighting or stealth makes it tricky and adds surprise.
12. Gephyrophobia: The abyss added a nice touch and... well I liked it.
13. Boarding action: It was a great sniper map and has a unique crazy king of the hill.
14. Chiron TL34: It was a crazy teleporter level and was very unique. Perfect for Shotguns.
15. Chill Out: was a fun capture the flag level and I also enjoyed playing all stealth games.
16. Damnation: I enjoyed the gap in the bridge and I also loved oddball on this map.
17. Derelict: It was a dark small map with a second floor. I think it's perfect for 100 kills matches.
18. Hang 'Em High: I enjoyed the pillars to hide behind, and it was a nice indoors capture the flag map.
19. Longest: It was a long narrow hallway with 2 floors (and yes I'm aware that it greatly resembles Elongation) and was another dark map.
20. Prisoner: A nice tall map rather than big.
21. Rat Race: Dark and was perfect for shotguns.
22. Sidewinder: A nice 2 level base on each side of a huge "U" shaped map and had a nice passage through the middle that I enjoyed playing Oddball on.
23/24. Wizard/Warlock: Great for Multi team and 4 v.s 4 v.s 4 v.s 4 capture the flag matches.
25. Turf: Nice Earth level great for swords.
26. Sanctuary: I like neutral Flag here and is a good double team map.
27. Colossus: Nice sniper map.
28. Backwash: A dark and surprising map excellent for any up close weapon games.
29. Elongation: Great rocket map.
30. Lockout: A new classic.
31. Midship: Great for sticking people and intense sword matches.
32. Headlong: Nice Earth level with 2 towers and a nice vehicle jump.
33. Burial Mounds: Fun for assault and 1 flag.
34. Foundation: I enjoyed playing Swat here.
35. Zanzibar: Another new classic that is compatible with everything.
36. Ivory Tower: I like filling the sniper spawn point with my enemies blood.
37. Terminal: Death Train. Nuff said.
38. Gemini: A nice tactical and strategy map.
39. Ascension: Snipers galore.
40. Waterworks: Nice big dark spooky. I love it!

Boarding action was the same ship...no ship would have a hole in it's side, then drift side-by-side with another..

Maybe they lost propulsion and are adrift. The maps dont have to make sense to be maps. Besides, humans dont have teleport technology, so why are there teleports inside a human level? And why is there a big whole in the ship? It doesnt matter.

As long as the level is balanced and creative, it is a good map.

If that was the case, they wouldn't be floating directly next to eachother, since..no propulsion=no control The maps dont have to make sense to be maps.All Halo, and Halo 2's Multip[layer maps made sense, fit in with the Halo Universe, etc..so yah.. Besides, humans dont have teleport technology, so why are there teleports inside a human level?Check Chiron. Human Facility to train Spartan Clones, either on Mars..or on a Halo. Or check Headlong (though that could be added by the Covenant when it was attacked) And why is there a big whole in the ship? It doesnt matter.An "External Access Point" like the big -blam!- we see in The Maw..

Relic is my favorite, but they need to keep Coag, Beaver Creek, and maybe a few others. While Lockout isn't one of my favorites, they are pretty much garunteed to bring it back, and I'm alright with that.

I think that it would be cool to fight Hangar-to-Hangar in the same Covenant Cruiser..so it's sortof Like an L..hangar on each line, and the middle is Space..

Read the map descriptions for all the levels...it tells where they are, and they all fit into what is going on at that time in the Haloverse (Like the Spartans from Chiron likely to show up in Halo 3 ;-))

Coagulation/Blood Gulch are a must, for Red vs Blue.
I know they do it on other maps but its were most of is set
and i'd like to see some more of it made with halo 3

We need some Halo PC maps back... Those were never experienced to their fullest...

Gephyrophobia. This map was awesome. Teleporters, bridges, and an almost endless abyss.

Prisoner. I love this map, but theres never any games on it... Its pretty un-tactical... just run and shoot. You can be seen from just about any point on the map, but that chaos makes it so much fun.

Sidewinder. I'd call this the perfect map. Slap some Halo 3 weapon placement and maybe a little redesign, and nothing could top it.

Hang Em High. No reason needed.

Theres so many others that would be awesome, but probably arent going to make it in... Danger Canyon, Death Island, Boarding Action, Chill Out, Infiniti(god I hated that map)
