I agree with everything the topic creator brought up except the vehicle health bars. In addition to that:
-Melees should be quicker, smoother, and have a longer range than it did in Halo 2. It was good in Halo, but almost geometric(well, technically it's all geometric) in Halo 2. I miss the whole concept of meleeing a enemy with the Shotgun, followed by a immediate shot in Halo. Or run out of ammo, bash a enemy, then shoot a round while he's stunned.
-Flashlight-Halo's. Real tactical lights are more powerful than Halo's flashlight. In Halo 2, the thing goes out every 5 seconds and you couldn't see four feet in front of you!
-Active Camo and Overshields in Campaign. If you think that's "unrealistic", then put in a container crate that holds the Camo or Overshield charge.
-The original Halo Shotgun should return. Anything but Halo 2's Shotgun.
-The explosions of Frag Grenades and Rockets should be like Halo. It was more realistic, whereas in Halo 2 it looked like a incendiary burst of a fireball and smoke.
-Sniper Rifle-Should be the original. It was hopelessly weak in Halo 2, for a gun of that caliber to take 2-3 shots to kill a Grunt/Jackal.
-Needler-Like the original Halo Needler, with better homing needles. I miss the smoother firing rate, and exploding corpses. Why is it, that the needles don't explode on you in Halo 2?
Marines-Don't really care, as long as the AI is better. But I like their armor better in Halo. It looked more original.
Pistol-Let's not go here and say that there should be a pistol more powerful than the M6C, but not as capable as the M6D.
