Hi
A lot of people have been discussing if and how MC will die. These people should be punished severely. As in thrown into a bush. A thorny bush. Anyhow, there is no way in hell that the MC is going to die. Think about it. He is our savior, our last hope. And, most importantly, he's the Chief-he couldn't die if he tried. So please stop talking about that people.

Here's my theory. As many of you know, every Arbiter in the past has died. The prophets told Arbiter he would die, and though he hasn't yet, I think he will. I think that at the end of the story, it will come down to the Arbiter and the Chief at the place where the universe can be saved. I think that the Arbiter will volunteer to stay behind and do what needs to be done, and that Master Chief will be able to escape. Oh and maybe Johnson will "find another way" to get out of this.

Yeah, I think that the Arbiter is going to sacrifice himself to save us all.
So please, give me lots o' feedback. Flame me. I just need the feedback. If i don't get enough feedback I will commit suicide.

Happy Hanukkah

This is not much a theory. I do agree it is entirely possible the Arbiter dies. The MC dying is not out of the question. Remember this is the last of the Halo trilogy. There are other parts of the halo universe in which MC is not needed, which Bungie can easily use as a different main character. It may seem stupid to get rid of your most popular character, but it's better to go out with a bang or sacrifice while still popular. How many times have we seen Game devs keep milkin the same Popular character out of as many games as possible? Halo is known for it's great story. If Master Chief has to die for it to stay that way, I say so be it. I will remember what a great story MC on the Halo 1, 2 and 3 were. There are other SPARTANS for us to play as. It all depends on the context of the story.

so do you think that bungie is maybe going to make more games after Halo 3 that don't involve the Chief?

Here's an idea.

If the Master Chief survives (which he likely will), why not have him and his soldiers just disappear or go into cryo until he is needed again?

That would let us know that he is still out there and waiting for something else to come along.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

The Prothets could have been the ones to kill all the Arbiter's though, so that whole theory about The Arbiter dying is still flawed.

The Master Chief serves no purpose if there is no war, he can't breed so I'd rather see The Chief die than The Arbiter.

I was thinking the exact same thing to!

That would make a pretty awesome ending also!

Hey do you know what that would mean? The Chief would start in a cryo tube (think halo 1) and then he would end in one. It would be a full circle, or should i say halo
