Sounds like your power supply in your Xbox fried. The same thing happened to me. I got a replacement part off of Ebay.

This exact predicament happened to me in August, I didnt play my Xbox for a week, and then it just didnt work, its definately the power supply that failed, as thats what they said happened to mine. If you have alot of stuff you want on your Xbox then you may want to consider repairing, but if you dont really care about whats on it (and dont say you halo account, because you can easily beat it again in a couple days) then you should just go buy a new one. I had alot of stuff on mine, so I got it repared. It cost 149$ CDN plus 12$ for shipping, they fixed it, but it took 2 weeks, and they switched my superior Samsung Drive to a far inferior Thomson drive, which I'm still pissed about. So for like 30 or 40 dollars more you can just get a new one, with another controller and 2 more games. (If you get the bundle) If not you can just get a new Xbox for like 149$ CDN anyways.

Sell your old one for (get what ever you can) and buy a new one. Gettin it fixed will probobly cost more than buying one.
