I don't see why not. With Halo 2 being the top grossing entertainment franchise ever, I don't know why they wouldn't want to market its sequel during the largest media event of the year. It's a great opportunity to reach casuals, and that is what the 360 is supposed to attract, right?
On the other hand, Superbowl ads are mega-costly, and I don't know if that ad specifically will generate enough interest in the game to warrant the price tag.
