This has kind of already been discussed, but I thought a poll would be good.

Why? You could have default, or any other of the already existing control configurations, OR you could customize your own so that everyone could be completely and utterly happy with their control configuration.

Fully customizable controls would be good, for people who would prefer a different button setup than the ones that they allow. But, I'm used to the default, so it wouldn't be of much use to me.

Yeah, but for all the people who would use it though, it would certainly improve the game for them.

This seems to me to be perfectly logical. There really doesn't seem to be anything bad that can come out of fully customizable controls, so long as all of the potential glitches are fixed prior to release. What I want to know is "Why not?"

I personally would like to see this. Though I do enjoy the default I would always like to change a few things around depending on the game type.

Such as an all snipers game I may prefer different placement for the zoom button, or perhaps force the d pad.

There is one bad, longer development time. Shouldn't be too much time, but they have 1000 other things to do too.

As long as the finally fix the ones they have now for duel-wielding I'll be happy. For those of you that haven't noticed; Boxer and Southpaw completely ruin duel-wielding (with Boxer you have to use the B button for your left weapon, and Southpaw criss-crosses them so the left trigger fires the right weapon and the right trigger fires the left).
