Elaborate how 1.1 grenades took more skill than 1.0 grenades instead of going about off topic about MLG rants, SMG etc. Please do so

I dont see a diffrence between the two. Like someone else here has already stated, they both take timing. Just diffrent timing.

First, stop saying "elaborate". Nobody listens to kids like you and it's just plain annoying.

Second, fragmentation grenades take 2-5 seconds to detonate. proof.
So, from the time it takes the MC to pull the pin and throw it, it's not going to have much "sitting" time.

Third, i don't see how adding time makes grenades take more skill. Both 1.0 and 1.1 take timing, it's just different timing.

I like to knit sweaters.....and by knit I mean PUNCH....and by sweaters I mean babies.

Macgyver can build an airplane out of gum and paper clips, but Evil One can kill him and take it.

You're a freaking retard! It should be shorter if anything !

There's is a difference between the two.

1.0 frag grenades take like 3-5 seconds to eplode after it bounce.

1.1 frag grenades explode almost instantly after it bounce. Like about 0-1.5 seconds.

That's a huge difference. If you can't see that, then you're just not that very good at Halo 2.

1.0 required you to time your grenades. coughskillcough

1.1 barely required you to time your grenades.

No

This is just a video game. It's not real life. MC can flip a tank, is that realistic?

You don't see that timing and leading your grenades add to the skill?

I love how you say me not being able to notice a couple second diffrence is becuase im not good. I never studied the diffrence seeing as how i havent played Halo CE in about over a year. I know for a fact i could wipe the floor with you and your little MLG buddies. So dont turn this argument into a "Whos better at Halo 2" argument. Thats just asking for it to be locked.

It's a fact undeniable fact that 1.0 grenades took more skill.

It's a fact that you need to BETTER time your 1.0 grenade.

It's a fact that you need to BETTER lead your 1.0 grenade.

or in other word of players like toxic. "it's different"

Do you mean "cook" the grenade, as in keeping hold of it and letting the fuse run down before release? It would slow the action down, I would think. Then again it would be a more tactical use of grenades,in cases of ambushing and assaults.

Personally I prefer how it is now ; More frantic.More fun

  • 07.10.2006 4:46 PM PDT

making the fuses longer will eliminate their use in close combat situations.
