I've always thought it was clever how bungie kind of got you watching the back's of your marines if you come across any and keeping them safe, because their extra fire-power makes them a survival must. Also the implimentation in halo2 of swapping weapons meant you could give them more stopping power. I think all that you really need to make sure the marines AI does for Halo3 is make sure in certain places, such as down alleyways or corridoors, they let the cheif take the lead, and as soon as they get into open area's establish a post in the area until the chief moves on...plus on the veichal side id like to see much more control, faster fire on the Gause cannon and better recognition of the environment along with more killer 'high concept movie like' one liners, id also like to see marines using their pistols and snipers take a decent vantage point, which is what halo 2 promised but i felt never delivered. oh yes....and for -blam!-s sakes you know im right about this one guys....get the -blam!- out my way when im firing my -blam!- gun at those -blam!-ign aliens and would the guy with the rocket launcher stop blowing himself + his comrades up...sheesh!!!
