I think its really dumb because sometimes it is more fun to have one person sniping and the other going in and killing stuff. I mean its just anoying to teleport when youre trying to do youre own thing. So please Bungie, TAKE OUT TELEPORTING IN CO-OP!!!

True. It does make it more realistic, however.

The teleporting thing isn't as tactical as it is technical. You get teleported after your partner enters a different area because the xbox can't handle holding the entire level at once. It unloads the last portion, loads in the new one, and the person lugging behind gets subsequently teleported forward. The only way for that 'feature' to be taken out is if the xbox360 can handle loading an entire level all at once.

(10:20:17 PM) Pezza: You were the one with the video camera breathing heavily. Of course you saw.

I don't see how but ok...

They only made it because it would not be possible for your Xbox to load 2 sections at the same time, there is always a loading point where you are teleported.

Draake beat me to it, darn.

Well judging from the fact that the game levels are 14 Miles out, I don't think adding another player would do to much harm. Although that is assuming all the levels, are open and huge. Although, the 360 may not be powerful enough to load all that plus the scripted movements of level. Here's to hoping I guess. [Drinks some Amp™ Energy Drink (from the makers of Mountain Dew.]

Yeah, and usually you want to work together hence the term co-op.

Well I'm sure as hell the 360 can handle having two people wondering in completely different areas on the map.

However I'm a noob and I get lost a lot and rely on who I'm playing with to teleport me to our objective, soooo....

A possible having it as an option to toggle on or off, or having a button you press to teleport you to your friend might work.

its helpful when somone is far behind and u can warp em but its annoying cuz in legendary the strategy is to send one player in and wait till he dies then he goes again after he spawns. but u wont warp when there enemies so its not a bad feature.

I agree. Thats why when u go back in regular campaign the non-default weapons arent there.

Hmm.....teleporting does help sometimes.....not all the time though.

I have no doubts the 360 can hold a whole level at one time, so no worries there.
Think about this though, the 2 spartans get separted (possibly more) and have to tackle an objective from different angles. One could snipe or do some reconaissance from a distance, and the other could get up close and personal. Or being able to take separate paths, meet up at the objective, and pin the enemy down from both sides.

It happens everytime the game needs to load a new area, if someone is four areas ahead of the other person, the system would blow up, it needs to stay in.
