Dude, seriously. Why would we delete them?

Anyway, I believe you're talking about anisotropic filtering, which I'm pretty sure isn't possible in an outdated game like Halo, but I think there was a thread here a few days ago with somebody who was able to find a way to disable zoom blur and enable AF.

You can enable AF and it will really work, however for AA, it will not work, you can turn it on, but it won't work, it'll just slow the game down with no effect to the visuals. I think gearbox said the reason you can't enable AA is becasue the game runs things through a buffer system which AA has to draw things from for it to work .

HISTORY SUX ASS!
And no, I literally mean DRAW DISTANCE, the distance from you at which the game stops drawing the terrain. Maybe I should have stated this earlier. I have a kickass graphics card, a kickass processor, and I'm running Win 2000 Prof. I'm using Halo Custom Edittion, and my problem only occurs on two popular maps, Hugeass and Coldsnap. Play either and you'll see what, exactly, I mean.

Well, now that you mention those maps, I do know what your talking about. But the thing is, those maps are so increadably gigantic, that it would be difficult for the game to do that. I don't think i've ever noticed the problem on any other map for CE Multiplayer, or campaign maps.

Yes, which is more commonly known as anisotropic filtering! (Also, Windows 2000? Seriously.) Hugeass and Coldsnap are giant maps, so I can see its need of AF, and we just stated there was a way to enable it.

Dude, seriously. Why would we delete them?

Those who ignore the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them.

If we kept, say, just the first Se7en pages, and all other pages were deleted, we could'nt refer people to the great, unstickied threads on page 8 or 9. Also, the same redundent threads would keep being created, because people wouldn't be able to read the old ones.

You don't need to go through all those pages. It's nice to browse through Ye Olde History of The Maw once in a while, and that's why those pages are there. If you come here regularly, just read and respond to the the first 1-3 pages. If you've been on vacation or away, just look at the first 1-Se7en pages. Don't feel obligated to respond to the threads on the other 300 sumthin' pages. That's called bumping.
