Excellent tutorial, you could probably get it submitted to good tutorials.com. It is very useful, especially for starters. You should update it to make use of the tween function though.

You press the tween button and enter as many frames as you want (the more frames the smoother the animation) and it will, instead of flashing red to white in your example, slowly fade red to white.

This is very useful for animations with glow effects or such.


Yes, of course. Pezza is an absolute pro with all bmp editors.

I personally prfer to use photoshop, but somehow I managed to format my hhardrive and lose the Photo shop CD at the same time maraculisly. So now I'm limited to Flash MX and Advanced gif animator.

Say I had a funny clip (a character falling in Arrested Development), would I have to take "snapshots" through my DVD player (InterVideoDVD) and then proceed to go through this process of making it into a animation? Another site I visit frequently has just updated so you can use animations in your sig so I thought I would give it a try.
