Again I don't post often unless I'm indeed in need of divulging my own knowledge of the vast Halo Universe. Again I feel my voice should be heard here today!!!
I will begin with this first revelation:
"And God set them in the firmament of the sky to give light [could be interpreted as "protection"] on the Earth"
~Genesis (here's the big one coming right here) 1:17 <<<< That is Genesis One-One-Seven!
Do I have your attention now?!?!
Very Good I Shall Continue!
"Noah went into the "ARK" [you still interested] with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives, because of the waves of "the flood".
~Genesis 7:7 <<<< Coincidence with the 7's? I think not!
"In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of "the great deep" [possibly refering to a great chasm or hole in the earth] were burst open, [big explosion right there] and the sky's windows were opened. [Anyone else remember the hole in the sky in the H3 trailer and the large storm that appeared to be brewing?]"
~Genesis 7:11 <<<<I'm not even going to say it!!!
So here ya go! Jahovah and Noah = Two Very Important Members of Forerunner Society
You laugh but again many should admit this is compeling!
Jahovah [read God] is a higher rank or of some superior stature to Noah and orders him to begin construction of the Ark!! [read "giant hole in the ground seen in trailer"]
This is all I will say for now but will comment more on these findings and other theories I have as they become of pertinent importance.
Is the flood in halo representative of Noah's flood?
Well?
God made a promise to never curse the world with such a flood ever again.
100,000 years after the first out break in halo, there has been 3, count 'em, 3 outbreaks.
The deluvian school of thought holds water, but not well.
God, also promotes the free will of man and all beings. God didnt curse the world with the flood the second and third time, the covenent did out of there free will. In other words, god doesnt control the actions of humans, or other beings. We control ourselves and God only knows the outcomes of everything that we can do, but can't stop us from doing anything.
think about adam and eve, she used her free will and ate the damn apple, now we all got screwed on that move. But again, she did it out of her own free will.
That doesn't explain my question though.
The great flood occured once and never ever again.
In halo, the flood is released repeatedly.
Even with mentioning free will, the parallel Noah's flood doesn't add up. The flood only occures once in the Bible, and never again.

This One Just Donged on me all of a sudden since I'm on a bible=Halo thing here!
Ever heard of:
The "ARK" of the "COVENANT"
Interesting how many times you can pull this bible-HALO cross reference
LOL Keep it UP!
Y es, interesting [url=http://bungie.net/fanclub/mkhmn/GroupHome.aspx]indeed[/u rl].
The only thing that God promised, was to never have a flood like the one noah suffered through. As it is only 8 people were left to tell the tale, and there are still billions living on earth. So basically the flood is still manageable at the moment, where as in the bible it wasnt. Technically that means God is keeping his promise by not letting the flood become too over powering.
Plus the master chief will defeat the flood, without having to actyivate the halo's, remember however f'd up cortana is, she still is an AI and it seems like she cares greatly for the chief. In Amber Clad is still on high charity, and can still be detonated and destroy the gravemind. Leaving the reminence of the flood less of a burdon.
All the MC has to do is..
Stop the Covenant from firing the halo's. And detonate high charity to save earth, we also cant forget about the Arbiter. The Arbiter's role is to help the Chief so this will make these tasks a LITTLE easier. The chief promised cortana he would go back for her so think about that as well.
Again... at this point the flood is manageable, unlike noah where the flood wasnt. Also if god breaks a promise the world becomes non existant, because God is never wrong.
