If anyone want to link me to a thread containing information about this i would aswell appriciate it, as im new i feel it's a bit much to be required to check through 365 threads as quite a few of them might contain the proper information (do you plan on implementing a search engine soon?).

Hello, even though a friend of mine said that there is no hope and that I'll get a response similar to; "You are banned for a reason", I will however take my chances.

I'm an old player of halo and have played Halo PC more or less since it came out, i do not like H2 of several reasons and I belive halo is one of the top 5 fps pc-games ever, so this might explain and skip comments about why I bother about this thread.

Down to the problem: I'm simply banned, I do not recall being banned previously (just before) I noticed being permanently banned from the eu-bungie servers (as every addict spending alot of time on Halo I've of course been banned some times on bungie before for that, some times for refilling ammo on afk players, which i made to a habit at one point).
As I play quite a bit fps and Halo is the outstanding one (still), I simply would like to know if I have any chance to be able to play on your servers again?

I've used my clantag since I first joined a clan and belive that a player should show who he is so that you have to stand for what you say and do in public, this is also the nick i want to be able to use in your servers; »®« IAL (alt 175 0174 174 space ial)

(if any other info is required please feel free to mail me at ial.1985@gmail.com).

Because of the rampant TKing on those servers they have impleneted am autoban to try to clean them out. I beleive they have made the ban perminent or at least a long duration i.e. couple weeks. You just have to wait for the ban to lift if it ever does. There is no use trying to contact Bungie about these servers. Their answer has been they are offered "as is" and are not administered.

EU-Bungie are the dedicated servers Bungie setup in Ireland so European players could have desent pings.

Hm. A few things. The bungie forums are just a place for players to hang out. If you're looking to plead your case with Bungie themselves and get your ban lifted, it won't happen. The forums don't serve that purpose.

My advice is to wait it out or go to another Bungie Server/other non-bungie server. It doesn't have to be Bungie to be a good game. You just need to know where to look.

I recommend going to Xfire and joining a game through someone on your list.

yeah i know about the autoban and figured as much as theyve changed the duration or has set a specific bannumber that leads to permanent ban. Its not ip based atleast which means its not my dynamic, which makes me able to join with another nick.

I do know for a fact that they DO have some admins even if they dont have any official ones, however as i havent found a mail or a hint how to get hold of these (in the case they actually could help me or give me a proper anwser on the length of the ban) i dont see it as a good way to go by with this.

Yeah i agree about the lagg, but i play this game for the fun of it and so does the others in »®« so taking some games on a decent cycle when few servers are running is a great way to spend some time.

1. Thanks for the informative answer. But if i cant plead here then do you know of any mail or similar?

2. As i said in my post i do know my way around, this thread is however designated to handle the question about bungie servers and not any other servers.

My server is in Dallas ebcause the US Internet backbone goes thru there, but it doesn't look like thats makes any difference.

I think I may know some of the guys in the »®« clan. Lexx, Bunky or Drraig, Froggy, W33d were all in my old Clan [ECUM] last year. I think that was they're new clan tag.

Nope. Either way, they're too busy being concerned over H2Xbox to worry about unbanning someone from the H1PC server.

This clan was created after BT's first split and early after the release of Halo PC ( www.halo-renegades.com ) We had had a player called "Bex", "Rampy" and "Reuben" (who used an marijuna icon - now deseased). I have heard the ECUM tag being mentioned before but i cant recall from where, u mind enlighten me some more? (to this i might ad that my memory is ----ed and i dont mean my HD.

Yeah as i said I'm just hoping for the little chance they would see this and bother about it. Ive been told more then once when complained over the ban that this will do nothing for my cause, still i want to be able to play with my tag and show people who I am.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

Bungie is ass backwards on this issue. The auto ban should be set up for fewer tkes, then a shorter ban period. It would prevent the TK, quit, tk, quit, tk, quit rountine.

The real tkers will continue their business as usual, and players who make mistakes will get perma-banned.

Ass backwards.
