What the Hell is the matter with you?!? Duel Wielding is what made halo 2... Halo 2. It is realistic because MC can lift a tank. I think he can hold two wepons.I agree somewepons did become weaker, but there ment to be put into combos. Duel Wielding stays. The reason you like Halo 2 is because of dual-wielding? Wow. I didn't know that one gameplay feature could determine the outcome of a game. He's just saying he liked duel weilding...made a good style of play.
MAC what the Hell do you mean?He means that when you single-wield a small-arms weapon in Halo 2, it isn't very reliable. Which is the truth. There is no point on relying on one of those weapons unless you dual-wield them, which I consider an imbalance.Or...your a bad player. it is componsated with grenades. Plus it seems we are only talknig Multiplayer terms here, the SMG was quite powerful in the Campaign. Plasma Rifle can kill, it just takes skill to aim it right. And it's a "bezerk" weapon. Shot a few shots at a guy at close range, melee him and he's done. Why the hell is the most common point "You suck at the game"? Really, is that the only argument I ever hear? How can you make an assumption without seeing me play? That's what I'd like to know.
And I love how you describe it so simply; see, you're only disproving yourself. I said that dual-wielding is unbalanced, but unbalanced can mean either too strong or too weak. And by posting such a simple solution to ANY dual-wielder (shoot a few times, then melee-that sounds a little too easy, don't you think?), you have only proven my point that dual-wielding is unbalanced.
Taking out a skilled player should not be easy to describe; you seem to have thought of one simple sentence to take care of any dual-wielder in Halo 2, yet if the game really DID take skill to play, then it would require more thought to kill a dual-wielder, not just "shoot a few times and melee."
