I was thinking one day, about how the Flood would be implemented into the Halo 3 storyline, when I remembered something.

The Gravemind now has control of High Charity, right? Well, not entirely...

Shortly before Truth departed in the Forerunner spacecraft, Cortana stated that the ship was being used as a power source for High Charity. Now that it is gone, what is going to give High Charity the energy it needs to opperate?

Just a random thought. Reply with ideas if you have any...

Just because the power source is gone doesn't mean High Charity may not still have leftover power.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

That is true, and High charity still does have Power reserved, at the very last Cinema scene in Halo 2 after the end credits you can see that the doors still function.
Also they might have enough power reserved to make one more slipspace jump.

Now if I were Gravemind and I could make one slipspace jump, where would I go... "cough Earth cough".
