Noah and the Halos

As a side-note, there was a recent theory by HaloFighter92 which I’ll mention. He noticed that 343GS and 2401PT are blue and red, respectively. There are seven Halos, presumably each with its own monitor. HaloFighter believed that each monitor had a specific color that corresponded to one in the rainbow. I find this significant in that God promised Noah to never unleash a Flood upon mankind again. This was symbolized with a rainbow. It is just speculation, but still a very nice theory.

Receiting what i've said in our groups forum, I just had a small thought, that if we look at the monitor, we're looking at spectrum(aka the colors of the limits of the rainbows). Now speaking of spectrum, if I'm not mistaken, blue(or violet) are the long waves, while red are the shorter waves(think infrara red and Ultra-Violet waves). 343GS was with us through Halo 1 and Halo 2. Obviously from the halo 2 we figured we'd see more of GS in Halo 3. It's quite possible. GS is the blue(/violet) spectrum, the longer wave, GS has longer and more knowledge(he understands about the "rediciouls" religious thoughts of the covenant, about the human race and the halo's themselves). 2401 PT only appears in halo 2 in the Gravemind cutscene, and merely says 5 words which GS has repeated (more or less) in Halo 1 or 2. And obviously, PT is in the Gravemind's "control"(or just tangeled by him{Gravemind despite PT's containment...who knows, he might have crushed him :P})so we might not see him in Halo 3. But this is just a thought of what we'll see in Halo 3 and not the idea of the Halo universe itself(except the descion of making them red and blue monitors(rainbow color).

Very good job Ender. Sounds like this one's been percolating for a good long while. I find your references to the Apocrypha stunning, and very well defined. The ideas that spartans are the spawn of Angels and women definitely has a great deal merit. I mean....wow.... :: hides and corner and sobs at personal inferiority ::

"The Nephilim are part Angel and part Man, so they would “walk” among both. After their bodies were destroyed, their spirits lived on trapped on Earth. They are most likely metaphorically “wandering” in the form of passed on genetic material. Their sins are their very existence and they live only to see Judgment."

could that be purgatory?

Some of you guys are -blam!-ing stupid! this thing was to only talk about the theory and then your telling us it's just a game. Yes it is but we are trying to figure out it's secrets, Ok? If you don't like seeing this, what's the point of going on Bungie?

Oh, I'm talking about pge. 1

Some of you may be misinterpreting what I'm saying. I DO NOT believe that the Spartans are representative of the Nephilim. There was a time when I believed that to be the case, but since then, I've come to see John as filling the Savior role. If that was the case, there was no way that the Spartans could be the Nephilim in my opinion. I mentioned that the Spartans are now representative of Angels.

How so? The fact that I took "as far as the story, it can be looked at as a biblical allegory. the parallels are stronger than you probably realise, because nobody outside of bungie has more than a corner of the big picture. and we only have two corners." to mean Halo could be loooked at as a biblical allegory? I can see where you're coming from...

Yea, now I see what you mean. It's taken me a while to fully digest everything that you presented. As far as the MC = Savior connection, I am fully persuaded that is the case. Now, as any good type of Christ, MC may not fill every facet of Christ, but more than just the Savior. I explain more in my theory here.

I've seen that theory, but I don't think John will die at the end. I'm going with the Revelation parallels which would be long after the Resurrection.

Personally, I am of the persuasion that more will be referenced than just the acts of Revelation. After all, the book of Revelation is a sort of summary of the Bible anyway. The entire Bible leads to one conclusion, that Jesus wins. Revelation is the sum and completion of Jesus, which in Himself is a summation of many prophecies of the Old Testament.

Whew, I'm so glad someone took the time to point out the complete obviousness of the story line. And people, stop overanalyzing it and talking about biblical stuff you don't know about... the bible is an interesting story whether you are a Christian or not (I am not) and allows for interesting gameplay.

This needs not become a political war.

Nice read. I disagree w/ the Spartan 3 part. However, I do have something to add to your theory.

* When you mentioned the abyss, & how it's opening caused the sky to darken.
Maybe the Abyss is the Ark which was seen in the H3 Announce Trailer. When it opened, smoke, dust, ect spread, & the sky became dark.

You also mentioned that something arose from the structure. I do not think the Flood or the Spartans 3 will arise. I think that the Abyss/Ark may hold another Monitor, & possibly a Forerunner. Yeah, I realize that the Forerunner part is a little bit of a stretch. If the Forerunners are not extinct, then I can see them making a return to Earth in Halo 3.
BTW Gravemind will play a "Major," role in H3s' storyline, we all know that. I'm thinking he is using John, Arbiter, Cortana ect as pawns. Maybe he wants to get to ark, b/c he knows it's the safest place for him, due to his fear of the Halos. He does not want to be wiped out.

Thats what I got from it. Analyze my thoughts if you want, & posts your comments. Overall, nice read.-Peace

I think that if the Gravemind can reach the Ark, he can then paralyze it. Or at least protect it from anyone that seeks to activate it. In regards to revelation though, he will be (or in light of the Whisper in the Storm lyrical has already been) bound, and will now be loosed for a season. Maybe we'll get some Lake of Fire action going on!

I originally thought that and my second draft of the theory included a whole page on that. Since that draft, however, my conversations with IceWeasel made me believe that the object we see in the Trailer is actually the Ark of the Covenant. If it were the Abyss, then I would question what exactly was coming out of the object. It would have to be something completely of Forerunner design, which kind of breaks the metaphor of the Flood Combat Forms being the Fallen Angels and Gravemind being Abaddon.

Keep it fluid, and it should work. That is, if I follow what you mean.

The life and world you see is just a cheery toped and sugar coated version. You know nothing of Hell. Unknown to you and everyone around you is that there is a war going on that you can't see. Now that you know, you are part of it. And if you are going to survive, your going to need to learn to pull the trigger.

wow, that went right over my head.

That's a lot of typing...

...But as I said before, will all this biblical research help us in the long run? I mean, once the game comes out, will it matter?

Will it help us? Probably not. Is it fun to speculate? Yes. Is there a possibility is could be true? Yes. Would it give me pride to find out it was true? Yes. It's just like any other theory posted on the forums. Do you ridicule all of those?

Depends on your definition of "help" and "matter".... and "long run".

It's fun to build a foundation of thought, and use that thought to make predictions.
I don't know if you saw, but the verses from Daniel were posted a month before H2 came out.
The prediction was the death of a "covenant prince", the "temple fortress being overrun and polluted", and the covenant being violated/forsaken by many.
[edit]
That was a fun prediction to see come to fruition.
Now I'm trying to do it again.
