Ok in halo 2 when u got killed in mid air the MC or Elite waves there hands and legs just like anyother deaths in mid air. I think when a gernade goes off next to you and you get killed by it you go flying sideways screaming and hit a wall and stay still or fly sideways until you hit the ground.

My other idea was that when a gernade sticks you or is right below you, instead of flying in the air, Disolve like the flood do in H2 instead of green blood red blood and instead of Elite armor remains MC armor remains...see where im going.

When your falling for more than 2 sec you should then die of waving your hands and legs like they do in H2 when ppl go flying from a gernade or rocket.

when a nade/rocket goes off behind you. you should go flying motionless in mid air until you hit something.

When you are shot out of a banshee/or hopfully pelican fall in mid air moving like crazy like someone would really do if they flew out of a pelican in mid air.

When you get run over by a ghost/warthog you go underneith the warthog like they wood in real life or fly over the hood like they do in the movies. in some cases wen u get hit u go flying wen tht happens ur should be motionless b.c u got hit by a 40 MPH peice of military equimpment..ur dead

When you get hit by the sword you shoud be able to see the sword go threw the victims body. or instead of flying wen u get hit u get owned scream and fall.

When you get shot while running... fall & scream and land on ur face

When u get shot in mid air, die motionless and wait to hit the ground

Make bullet marks in your armor wen u see a dead body

bodies shouldnt disappear

in other (and shorter) words, Bungie needs a better ragdoll program and death simulation.

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

I think it would be cool to actually have bodies lay on top of eachother, and not dissapear..how cool would it have been in Halo when the "Flood are gathering bodies" in the corners..to actually see four stacks of Elites, Grunts, Jackals, and Marines?

I'd like to see a bit more gore too. Nothing too much that would take away from the Haloness.

Yes having bodys not go away would be realistic, But It would lag like crazy.

I totally agree but unfortunately I can't give any examples because you have said it all, maybe next time just say ragdoll effects or physics.

He walks away from computer and says, simplistic.. simplistic peoples.

It wouldn't be for MP but only for campaign because you can't have bodies staying on MP imagine the lag, for campaign it would be awesome because it wouldn't lag and after a big battle you could admire the havock that you've wreaked.

and u should be able to see the bullet holes of whoever u shot

  • 07.12.2006 5:40 AM PDT

Mr Random

I concure with all of the above.

better physics.

no dead man swimming in mid air

bullet holes and scratches in MP Sp and Co op battles

And when your shields go down you should be able to see sparks from the bullets hitting your armour!. (that would be cool)

And maybe have the human bullets (projectiles) bounce off you shields?

In MP, they can't stay for forever, but they could stay for a while longer without the lag. Personally, I'm more intent on seeing that permanant objects (crates, and such) don't disappear randomly when they're piled together...

i think they should bring back the corpse-melt-into-surroundings feature on halo:ce that was amazing when you'd kill something close to a cliff and theyre body would lay half-on, half-off then melt into the cliff.
