You should of made up your own instrument. You could have named it the PolarLighting -a-phone. People would buy it and they would all be like "Awh, He's so cool for inventing the PolarLighting-a-phone."

I actually enjoy the variety that Dual-wielding offers. It adds a nice dimension to Halo 2 and it should be kept for Halo 3. If you're gonna say that it sucks atleast state why, because it's not unbalanced. I have yet to see someone complain about how dual wielding is too powerful.

Nobody forces you to dual wield though. You're given a choice; either you can have grenades, or more firepower.

Why do you guys hate duel-wielding? It adds so much more strategy without taking away from what makes Halo, um, Halo. You don't HAVE to use it, and honestly, it was original, it was a good idea.

They were pretty much the first developer to use the idea.
I think that the SMG and the Plasma Rifle are one of the best combos, besides the n00b combo. Cause that's just cheap.

I like Dual-Wielding, I wish we could have more options like dual energy swords! Man, that would so rock! I know dual Rocket Launchers is asking for too much, but c'mon! DUAL ENERGY SWORDS!!! hehe....

I'm one of the types that enjoyed the game play of Halo 1 more. The weapons seemed much weaker in the second one, forcing you to dual wield most of the time.

I guess I'm just too nastalgic for my own good.... :(

Dual energy swords is so pointless.

One energy sword is overpowered enough, methinks.

maybe the first developer besides all the ones that did it before them. I seem to remember dual-wielding in GoldenEye on 64, which was done by Rare
i say keep it

Why would you want to dual wield an auto-kill weapon that has to be used at close range? What the hell is the point? The only difference would be the lack of grenades.

No, no I'm not. In fact there are many people that share my opinion, there's no "only one" of any opinion or preference.

EDIT!!!!!!!:

Sorry, I'm not an idiot, it's my lack of sleep.

Hey!!! EvilKitty, methinks you took my phrase!!!

Ahh, I dont care, hah. Methinks.

I know what you mean when you say that the weapons feel weaker, I really want that feeling of "I'm holding a powerful weapon man"

But I think that will be fuffilled in Halo 3, it looks like it.

No one is forcing you to dual wield. So if you don't like it, don't dual wield.

dual wielding shouldn't be taken out it offers a veriaty of different solutions to a sticky situation, i personally don't dual wield that much because i like to use LOTS of grenades, but when the moment takes you and you know you are going to need it is a good thing to have. and who can tell me it unbalanced, it is stronger then a battle rifle from a bit closer but from farther away most dual wielding weapons majorly ineffective, you loose the ability to bunt and throw grenades if you are keeping the combo, you can't drive a vehichle or operate anything without. some good things you could say about dual wielding would be that, you can use a covenant weapon to take out the shields then do some serios damage, you can over power certain enemies with much more ease while in close quarters, you have a weapon to fire while the other is reloading. so i think that we should keep the dual wielding because anybody can own anybody who is dualwielding using a strengh against them, and anybody dual wielding can own anybody with strenghs against them
