SO far I only have a couple that would help make it next gen:

1.) Multi-path campaign levels- Basically, at certain points in each level you would be given the opportunity to do different things. For instance, you might be given a choice of flying in a pelican to go give relief to a unit pinned down by a horde of Brutes or go with a special team where you would covertly infiltrate and snipe off the covenant to gain access to a base. So, in this fashion of play, the gamer could choose how they would like to play based on what THEY like to do. Plus, the replay ability would be greatly increased because then you could go back and play the game over trying all the different paths you came up upon but passed on before.

2.) Inivative Online Co-Op- There would be no "pregame lobbies" for this co-op, you could simply just tell a friend ya need some help and he could join immediately where you are. No level restart or checkpoint, he would just appear right next to you.

3.) A larger Scale Online Opportunity- In other words, I think some super large battlefields would be cool. This would also include every race and or marine to be playable. You'd have the Covenant team versus the Humans. You could be Brutes, Elites, Jackals, and even Grunts if you wanted, as well as the humans having all the different marines available. Each race or type of marine would be good at certain things, and not with others. This game mode would line up with games like Battlefield and Black Hawk Down. Also, this would not be the only mode, the more traditional Halo modes would be there as well, this would just be an alternative. It would be alot like the campaign brought online, just a massive 64+ player carnage fest.

If anyone else has some ideas, go ahead and post em. I think Bungie could use some out of the box ideas, and who knows, maybe they'll use some of them.
