So you wish to destroy the pace of the game and eliminate chatting...

The last man on Earth sat in a room, there came a knock at the door.

Service Record

So what your saying is, I have to turn on my flashlight, exposing myself to everyone in a vain attempt to find someone in the shadows?

If anything you're going against black armor with that suggestion. I still can't see him, but he knows where I am because my flashlight is on.

We don't even know what Bungie might use the entire D pad for in halo 3.

True, I really want the black color though and i just thought a way to help those who thought it would be cheap is to give them a way to brighten the area up:)

Too much brightness makes video games look weird, distorts shadowing and colors. To tell you the truth.

Black is cool. But guess what. It wasn't even in Halo CE. That what it looked like at the color select screen, but in game it was grey.

Just giving out a few facts and my view of this.

Why do people want black so bad anyway? It's just one color, and its probably the cheapest color out there, or would that be why?

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

using black armor has more than just one advantage. it doesn't only make you harder to see in dark areas, but it just doesn't stand out as much as other colors. any bright color will always be recognized before a neutral color, it's just the way it is. i never used it in halo CE, but 2 friends of mine always did, and there were several times, especially in low-light maps that they would get the drop on my or i would just run right by them, especially in "rat race".
