In Silent Cartographer, go into the first building; the one in which you fight a lot of Covenant and then you have to go out to disable the security. In other words, the building the map room is in. Enter through the center-front entrance and walk forward until you hit the wall. If you could turn right, go down a ramp, turn left, go down another ramp, turn left, go down yet ANOTHER ramp, and be in the room where the door gets locked, you are in the right spot. (Do NOT do this, just check to see if those conditions are true, if so, you are in the right spot.)

Okay, back to the wall I just had you walk into. Back up a few steps, and look at it. There are quite easy-to-see humanoid figures on the wall. They have eyes, a chest,
short arms, and short legs. They "interlock" vertically with each other. The top figure's legs straddle the second-to-top figure's head, and so on down until the ground. What look like horns atop each head could be the feet of the higher figure. Each figure looks to be about 9-10 ' tall.

If you have any way for me to host pictures, I'll do it with a figure highlighted. However, that is probably unnecessary. Once you know what you are looking for, it should be a breeze.

Once again, you should enter the top floor of the map room building through the center door (there are three doors to enter, like a T shaped PVC pipe) and go straight forward until you hit the wall. Back up and look at the wall.

(Thanks to Cjattwood for taking and hosting picture)

In this picture, the targeting reticle is pointing between the heels of one figure and above the head of one "cut off" by the floor.

Could this be more evidence that Forerunners are humans?

The figure is the most "filled in" part of the wall, so I'm not so sure this is just some weird design. Oh well, maybe I'm crazy...

The top of the head is cut off by the picture, in case you haven't figured it out. Some people think that 343 Guilty Spark looking thing in the chest is the head.

... and keep that GFAQS thing on the d-low. :p Just kidding.

You should really photoshop the picture so you can outline it for those who do not believe.

I was looking at that wall not evan a week ago wondering about it. It was weird, all the times running past it and I just noticed it last week. Weird.

I see evidence that grunts are decendents of the forunner: I see a forrunner, and standing infront of it is grunt, and standing infront of the grunt is what aperes to be a jelly fish of some sort, poss ably what humans evolved from

I am posting it all over on different forums... it's not like I am making a million threads about it in one forum.

Another halo mystery just before one of the bridges on attack on the control center random yellow blips appear on your radar suggesting that there are allies nearby but when you go out on to the bridge there are no marines etc.

HEY
HAS ANYBODY GOTTEN TO THE TOP OF THAT ROOM? THERE'S A LITTLE CENTER BEAM YOU COULD STAND ON.
Maybe there's some huge secret up there that Bungie is laughing that no one has found yet. This post caused me to look up there for the first time.

Hmm actually, it looks alot more like a Grunt then a human, and the grunts past is unknown I found this on the Library website, its like a thesaurus for Halo http://library.psyjnir.net/. ( Grunt culture has largely been erased by their incorporation into the Covenant. They are essentially a slave race. Their home world is a swampy planet with a methane atmosphere and naturally occurring pillars of fire.

Grunts obey the other Covenant races out of fear, because they have no political power in Covenant society. However, within the Grunt community there is a strong hatred of other species, and a belief that someday a dynamic Grunt leader will lead them to freedom on a methane-rich paradise world. )
Itd be pretty hilarious to know that the Grunts were the Forerunner, seeing as theyd start being treated like gods, instead of cannon fodder by the Covenant.
