Im not sure if this has been posted but whatever.

In halo one i would play with the AR and hit the enemy with about half of the bullets.

So we can travel in slip space, but cant make a simple rifle that can shoot straight? Right now we have weapons more accurate than that. Though i guess having a perfectly accurate weapon would take away from the challenge.

If the AR is included in halo 3, you think this will be made more realistic?

i found that idf you shoot the AR in burst its more accurate. and obviously if you shoot at close range it more effective

So you consider a giant space ring with it's own gravity and enviroment realistic?

I meant it needs realism qualitys. Like take fall damage in Halo 1 for example. You fall from a high enough ledge your shield goes down. Unlike halo 2 where you can jump from a thousand feet and not be harmed.

If Halo 2 didn't have realistic qualitys then, why does the MC's shields drain when a bullet hits them?

Mendicant Bias: Someone set us up the Halo. We get signal.
Gravemind: What?!
Medicant Bias: Main screen turn on.
Gravemind: It's you!
Offensive Bias: How are you, Enemy? All your base are belong to Forerunner. You are on the way to destruction.
Gravemind: What you say?!
Offensive Bias: You have no chance to survive, make your time. Ha ha ha.

About the time period that Halo is in, we should have been even more advanced than the Covenant. That is, unless, for some reason, we decided to continue using bullets.

And realism does matter in games. Halo is 500+ years into the future. You can bend the rules of realism there. And a gaint space ring is actully quite possible, by the way.

Plus, think of all the space advancements Halo has in the story. I'm pretty sure the fact that we're still using bullets is because we we're devoting more time to sapce exploration and not to weapons research.
