I have searched far and wide for the music from the Marathon games and to no avail have my long hours payed off. I have finally come down to this, posting in a clandestine Bungie organization working towards wold domination. If anyone has any information on how I could get my hands, or rather ears, on these music masterpieces I would be very much obliged. I can be contacted on AIM at Thexter711 or my email is Thexter711@aol.com.

Thank you,
Ender

I would just like to say thanks to both of you for your help. Both of your link were very useful.

I'm not exactly familiar with those terms i.e. AlephOnce, and OpenGL. The last time I played Marathon was on one of my older Macs that I now have in storage. I didn't know that Marathon was compatible with a PC computer. Is it an older version of Windows that it uses or could it be played on XP? I also use a G5 Mac and I know it is able to convert to classic mode while still in Panther. I guess I sound pretty stupid asking these questions and I'm sure the answer to them is in these forums someplace, I just don't really have the time to look for it.

You can indeed play M-Thon on Windows. Check the sticky called "Marathon guides".

^^^^ What he said.

OpenGL is a 3D graphics library, much like DirectX. AlephOne is the Open Source marathon engine. It works for Mac (all OSes), Windows (all OSes) and most unix/linux distros.
