Posted by: Great_PretenderWhat, so I can instantly kill you twice?-TGP-you took the words right out of my mouth.
Dual-wielding swords is no different than wielding one sword. It'd just be pointless to have it for dual-wielding.Stop complaining about the sword. Before Halo 2, everyone wanted the sword you couldn't pick up from Halo, even then it was much more potent, as you saw firsthand.
no that would be retarded, why would u need 2. 1 kills instantly
why do jedi's have 2 lightsabers, different styles of fighting, some people like to use one sword rather then 2 and at times 1 sword beats 2. 1 sword alows for better control but with 2 u are able to swing more times and cover more area, but the problem with 2 is u would have to now control 2 swords making your reaction time alot slower. if done right this could be the case in halo 3 and u would be able to have real sword fights instead of just swinging away. but if 2 swords are not included in halo 3 atleast alow us to use the jackels shield with the sword.
2 swords ARE featured in the Halo graphic novel. You can see in the previews two elites dual-wielding swords and fighting. Also, a hit from the sword is NOT an instant kill. I dare you to run in front of a spec ops elite on legendary, stab him, and have that kill him without any other weapons.

For gods sake don't ask why or you will be flamed!

The only way I could think of dual-swords being useful would be if you were fighting multiple enemies from multiple directions. However, since the game is played from a first-person view instead of a third-person view, you wouldn't be able to tell anyway. For gameplay, it'd probably be inapplicable. Still, it'd make for a cool cinematic sequence.
If you can dual wield swords in Halo 3, I'm not going to buy it because of all the 11 year olds who will whore them."LI3K LOL U NOOBSAUCE I KILLED U WIT TWO SWORDS LOL U SUCK YOUR MOM GOES TO COLLEGE!!11111oneoneshift"
Sorry, but are you all stupid? Bungie knows enough to not include this, or balance it in some way. Also, you could dual wield it with something other than another sword, lol. "So I can kill you twice?"
