So this is for people who have read The Flood and First Strike. So, you know that at the end of The Flood, Major Silva was planning to capture the Truth and Reconcilliation, and take it to Earth, right. But, in First Strike, if I recall correctly, they couldn't take the Ascendant Justice straight to Earth, because it would violate the Cole Protocol. So, if Silva took the T&R directly to Earth, wouldn't that violate the Cole Protocol too? I mean how is that different?

It's not. That's why they didn't let it happen.

It didn't happen because McKay destroyed the ship, and not because it violated the CP, but because Flood were still present on the ship.

Is it possible that they would have done the same thing that the AJ did on its way to Earth? Maybe he thought it was too important, so screw the protocol. I don't know.
