This should be basic, but way too many people in this forum ignore it... they read the title of a thread and thats it. They make a post thats ridiculously offbase or redundant. I suggest this should placed into its own sticky that users need to read before using the forum. This applies to all forums obviously, but there is defiently a massive amount of useless info floating around in the Halo 3 forum.

I'd also like to appluade users who take the time to read through the threads originol post and replies, and those who flame users that ignore this basic guideline.

Perhaps a way to solve this problem is to make an agreement page, whereas, when you sign up for a bungie account, you must read all of the stickies first and click the "I agree to these terms" contract after reading. That way, if somone violates this, moderators can ban, block and delete accounts since there would be less tolerance for morons that post drival.

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

Yes, then ban the people who make poorly put together repeat posts. I'd love for that to happen..err, or at least have a mod Delete the thread..NOT lock it..

LOL, why would somebody bother to read the stickys if they don't even read the replies to the threads they are posting in?

They should be forced to read the stickies first, then click to accept an agreement saying if you don't follow these, we'll delete your posts, user id and then SPAM your email aaccount until the cows come home... and honestly, we don't own any cows, so just go get yourself a new email account... ya bum. Thats the way it should be.

Amen. They don't read the stickies now. Why would this be any different?

I'm sorry, what were you saying?

Guidelines written by mods at the top say the same thing.
