Excerpt from a Monday(5/17/04) article on Generation Y:
[Microsoft plans to make a big splash this year for the Xbox game "Halo 2," and it will look to the Steven Spielberg film "A.I." for help. The 2001 film used a stealth guerilla marketing campaign, placing unusual messages in the film's credits and creating an elaborate and mysterious Internet game to generate buzz for the movie. Microsoft will do something similar with "Halo 2," Featherstone said.]

Thought provoking, isn't it?

At E3 2004, they said they were going to have an extensive ad campaign. I can't wait for these commercials to come out, I only hope they can top the announcement trailer from a year or two ago.
