This is just saying what would be pretty good in Halo 3, i'm not saying for bungie to put this in.
In Halo 3 they should have the Mark VI armour still but if he does get the rumoured about Mark VII armour it should have the same recharge speed as the Mark VI and health bars like the Mark V (My favourite armour of Halo).

I know some people that agree with me that the health bars would just be something to take a hit for you if you are weak on health and taking time to cover. How many times in legendary have you needed cover and one plasma bolt hits you just and kills you, if you had health bars combined with the fast recharge it would save you on legendary a few times.

legendary annous me cos instead of it being harder that there stronger they also only take a few shots too kile u as wen u go to charge i 1 v 1 against an elite u always die and i always run out of ammo completely on the map cos me shooting them dus nothing and they just recharge . it should be a bit more even like it is on multiplayer

the recharge bar is better than when we had to pick up the healthpacks.
i think there should be a button i can press to shut cortana up. i hate it when she tells me that my health is low. i know that, theres a blummin health bar on the screen.

Actually, i think healthpacks enhanced gameplay. It made the journey for helpacks the most exciting and frightening part of MP. If you were 10ft from a healthpack with no shields and 1 bar of health, it became 2 miles. It made you feel vulnerable, whereas in halo 2 it is just hide behind a corner and your good to go.

At least in Halo 2 a bullet wound actually stayed a bullet wound rather than just healing up instantly along with your shields

They should have health bars, so I know when im going to die, but your health should charge over time. It would be a little better than having to run for the med packs. It wouldn't bother me if they have med packs in Halo 3 though.

It's just giving you extra health for those harder levels like legendary. It wouldn't mean that you have to care about getting health packs it is just making you survive longer.

meh, I dont know the whole "med kits just sitting around in random stops" thing just didnt make sense to me? I mean how did these med kits get there when nobody except the chief has gone through?

No health bar is better. If you ever play other fps do you ever notice how you never pick up health? This happens to me alot because im so used to Halo 2's recharging sheild. Combined with the beeping noise of having low sheilds, Bungie did a great job of making it so that when I play Halo the only thing I have to think about is my objectives. I don't know about you, but I don't enjoy scavenging for health packs. Another thing is that IF they had the same amount of sheilding and a health pack, the cheif would be unstoppable, and MP would be annoying. Just leave it the way it is.

I agree with you, it's a good compromise.

health bar in single player, no health bar in multiplayer. EASY!!

halo 1 campaign was way better than halo2's, and the health bar is one of the reasons.

It wouldn't change anything. You still have health in Halo 2. You just can't see it and it recharges rather quickly. So showing it would only show it to you not give you more life.

An interesting compromise might be to show it, but have the health take longer to recharge (like the time it would take to find a health pack).

For the MC not having a health read out on his HUD, he can feal his own pain. A health bar is the only way for us to get insight into that.

health bars are lame. That's one of the few things Halo 2 did right.
