all it is is that keyes was hard to bring down sothey thrw the worst paracitic form at him which was so painful that it reduced him onto a paracitic blob of puss u even saw his face ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww but the wierd thing was was that he was actually still alive and would of either just stayed like that or just turn into a really strong monster of the flood and he was vulable to gm because he had so much info mation about everyting eg spartan 117 earth cortana ect so he hads to really take other his body!

It'd be cool if you could fight gravemind side by side with the arbiter and cortana would be standing in the sidelines rooting for you. "A clash between good and evil"

To play or not to play....

Captian Keyes was not alive when the Master Chief ripped the chip out of his head. Sure we could see his face and make out some vague arms and possibly legs (very vague). However as you find Captian Keyes, at this point, Cortana announces "No human signs detected" then she rattles on how you must do what you must. This means that Captian Keyes was dead at this time. However his awareness was probably transferred to the brain form. Hence the Flood may very well know what Captian Keyes knew.

On another note has anyone else noticed the Graveminds appearance. Elites have a head with two jaw like thingies on either side of their mouth area. Humans have one lower Jaw. The Gravemind seems to have both side jaws and the lower Jaw. Perhaps as a combination of Elite and Human traits. It just makes me think when I see it.

To play or not to play....

It could be just be coincidence but it just seems odd that a life form that seems to have been around for ages has some elements of both races. Hmmm who knows.

I am thinking the Elites are more important to the grand design than it seems.

Maybe the Forerunners are related to both humans and elites. *shrug* who knows.

I think Gravemind....is a bunch of people thoughts and memories all bunch up and used by a giant...Flood...brain...So in other word...Yea I think that there are like 1 "Brain" Flood on each of the Halos, or is on the Flood Agenda on the "To Do List, After Infecting people".

To play or not to play....

Anyone know of any screenshots of the Gravemind from head to toe. I have viewed the clips in game a few times and yes it seems the Gravemind may be more than it first seems.

When wee see the Master Chief and the Arbiter with the Gravemind. Is it just me or does the Gravemind seem to be either hanging from the roof or hovering above the ground. Not to mention the Gravemind ahs a rather strange body shape (as expected).

Oh and if you want a short cut to the clips {the gravemind one is called "Inside Job"} http://nikon.bungie.org/misc/cutscenes/halo2.html

To play or not to play....

If it is true, as some people have suggested, that each Halo installation has its own Gravemind. Why didn't the Gravemind on the first Halo try to stop the activation. The only way the Master Chief could stop the activation was to destroy Halo. If there was a Gravemind there then surely that Gravemind would have known this and tried to stop it.
