The game lags already WHY DO YOU NEED TWICE AS MANY PEOPLE?!?!?!?! More people also means you need bigger maps and that will cause even more LAG!!! More people also means more SPON KILL!!!!! And the reason there is no playing campaign online is because it caused so much lag!!! STOP POSTING FORMS ABOUT MORE PEOPLE TO PLAY WITH ONLINE, 16 IS ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!

And the will have to tune down the graphics because there is so many people in it. It will probably look like Black Hawk Down for the original Xbox.

16 is fine for me.

Adding more people brings down the connection and thus causes LAAAGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! To avoid this problem game makers put in less detail to make it take less info being received and sent.

BF2 MC has some really nice graphics and it has 24 players. I think 24-32 would work fine. And no, they wouldnt have to tone down any graphics. Its just a simple matter of reproducing the same model multiple times. It really isnt that big of a drain on the 360.

Now about lag. If bungie decides to go with some dedicated servers for thier MM, then we might not have to worry too much about lag, or the host advantage. Lag is always a factor in gaming, and it wont go away. Halo 2 hardly lags like hell. Halo PC lags like hell. Halo 2 only lags alot for a console, and BF2:MC for original XB had some pretty bad lag.

Halo 3 should have more than 16 players because it would not only add to the online play, but allow for larger maps and more expansive MP battles.

From what your saying, it sounds like your refering to the Xbox. Halo 3 is going to be for the 360, meaning it's going to be more powerful and won't lag as much. PDZ had online co-op and it worked fine. Battlefield has really big maps and more players, and it works fine. Co-op would be good for Halo 3, but they should only put more players if they have enough big maps.

Bungie already made the big mistake of putting small maps into BTB. I dont know why they did but i definately dont enjoy BTB Slayer on Warlock.
