Firstoff...it's a Dell. I know recently they've gotten better, but to me, the company still reeks of cheap and ugly boxes. They're the people who started the whole "all PCs are ugly" stereotype, what with their constant stream of boxes. Their computers from before looked like they had DNA from the freakin UGLY TREE spliced into em.
But enough about that. Onto the real stuff.
The Core Duo looks pretty good, one thing's for sure, you won't get bogged down in multiple processes. Vista supports Dual processors, so it'll be good. But see if you can't get an AMD processor instead...they manage processes more efficiently. And among gamers, AMD is teh processor to have.
Vista capable means nothing, but looking at your specs, you look fine for Ultimate Edition.
Ask someone else about the specifics of your GPU, but...wait a minute...you're getting a notebook. Meaning ten to one that the GPU will be integrated. Make sure you have sufficient RAM, cause that GPU will share with your primary RAM.
And finally, be aware that you're getting a notebook. While it may be good right now, it might become obsolete in a few years, so decide for yourself if you want to drop big money into a non-upgradeable investment that'll become obsolete in a few years
Thanks for the info, and since the notebook is Vista Capable, then it has at least 512 MB RAM,but if it has more than that,I don't know, because it does not specify on dell.com.
