Let's hope he can get his PC working right soon, I feel like playing a game of "Let's Kick Fatmat's Ass!"

I had this same problem awhile back with my laptop. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Halo many times, I followed every lead in the MS knowledgebase, I looked on Halo sites, I tried everything. Nothing worked. I finally got it fixed a few months later by doing a fresh install of XP. I haven't had the problem since then. This seems like a drastic measure, but it really helps the system run faster and better if you do it every 6 months- 1 year.

the only problem josh is that I don't know how to re-install xp lol

I got it to work!!!!!!!

for future reference... just have the game installed, then pop out the disc, and put it back in, when that window opens up, go to the website, and download 1.07, the auto-update one (230 KB) and then run and run and run it.
