There once was a Master named Chief
who liked to smash Covenant
teeth,
He filled out a docket,
And picked up a rocket
Which brought all the bad guys to grief.
this writen by THE MAN Frankie. from his OXM days

you can only have up to 16 people on xbox lan. but 64 would be the bomb.

Twelve Large ²

An army of sheep led by a lion would defeat an army of lions led by a sheep.

It's so much easier to get 64 players together over the internet. 64 is a little overkill for lan play.

First of all, you ask "good or bad?", neither of which are choices on your poll.

Secondly, I don't think that 64-player would be too good of an idea.
Heres why:
* I don't think the XBox ethernet system could possibly support 64 players, that's 16 XBoxes all running off of the same cables. Thats a lot of cables and it couldn't possibly handle that much.
* LAG. nuff' said.
* There is no possible way that you could find 64 people, and play Halo at someones house, unless you own a mansion. Even then, you would have to have multiplayer maps that could support 64 players. What's more, I don't know about anyone else, but half of my freinds get into fist-fights because they don't like the games the other half makes.
In short, I don't think it's even possible in the first place, so it's not worth talking about.

But don't get me wrong, if someone could make it work, it would be great.

Edit: Even if you did try it over the internet, you still have the issue of pleasing everyone and Lag.

The ability to do something does not mean you have to do it. 64 players would be good, if you could organise it, so I think in answer to your poll, everyone should say 'Good', oh wait, that wasn't an answer choice, errr, the one that implies that.

Evil Otto has already shot this down.

There will NOT be 64 players in Halo 2.
