LOL, no they are not 65milion years old. And they never died out. And your not makeing much sense.

Ummmm...actually, they did. Stay away from the white powdery stuff.

I would love to continue this over PM's. Becasue we would get banned of we did this on the fourms. But i will say this. And they were arround and about when man was arround. They found a footprint of a dinosour and a mans footprint in it. So that kinde of blows your 65million thing away. Besides the fact that theres cave drawings with men rideing dinosors. And from waht I understand is that Man came after the Dinosours. Which what I just said would me that this is not true. But i havent checked into it for a wile so the dates may of changed. They also change the dates to everything every year. So it was just to much to keep up with.

Sorry for my spelling im in a rush right now, I have things to do. BBL
*Cough*Carbon dating*Cough* Ever heard of it?

"omg a ppl footprint is in teh dinosaur footprint." So if I make a footprint on the moon, does that mean that I was around when the moon was formed?

Re-work your logic.

EDIT: Damn, this post was four pages ago...my apologies, fellow people...

My input: I do not think that the halos killed the dinosaurs.

Just a quick thought, and maybe someone has said it before, but dinosaurs were about 65 milion years ago right? Maybe the first activation of the Halos was what killed all life (or most of it) on Earth before humans came along (thus prooving humans NOT forerunners)

1. Forerunners can't be THAT old.
2. Last time I checked dinosaurs don't really qualify as sentient life, and since the rings only kill off sentient life.....no.

Apparently you know nothing about geology. Fossillized footprints have to be made at roughly the same time. If a dinosaur made a footprint, it fossilized into rock, and then a human 65 million years later put a foot into it, it wouldn't make a footprint, because it's freaking rock. Therefore, in order for the human footprint to be fossilized inside the dinosaur footprint, they would have had to have been made at roughly the same time.

re-work your logic.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

canadians are like the french, they raise the white flag when the battle starts

I am absolutely offended by this, you all would have lost to the Naz!s if it wasn't for Canada, in fact, the U.S. did jack -blam!- during WW2... untill they got bombed by the Japs.

moral of the Story don't compare the French to the Canadians, France lost every war!

Actualy you got it the other way around. Canada is not known for winning WW2. The U.S. ended the war in japan by bombing hiroshima. The U.S., England, and the Soviet Union finished it up in Europe. So the truth is, Canada did nothing in WW2.

...no. No. Dear God NO. What's weird, however, is that the Halos even activated only a mere 100,000 years ago, which doesn't seem much for any sentient life to evolve.

343 didn't say what years, though. 65 million earth years could= 100,000forerunner years.

Good point I suppose. I mean we don't know for sure if how many years one human year equals to a forerunner year. But we can assume they are the same unless there planet took a damn long time to complete a year so it is a plausible idea. Then the forerunners have to be some kind of ice creatures to survive in cold tempratures.
But good idea and its plausible.

During the Ice Age alot of soil was pushed from the North all the way down south, it's a well known fact, that is why Canada has lots of soil for Farming!

thats why canada sucks!!!!

And yet the USA has more enemies than they can handle, plus you guys are on the verge of becoming overpopulated.

Canada has More land, cleaner water, and more oil/Natural Gas.

Suck it!

You also have more polar bears, ice, and snow...YAY

We all know humans were around when e dinosaurs were around becaues Raptor jesus preached.
I can tell you went to the school for the mentally challenged.

There is no reason to act like an idiot here. Bashing people because of their views is completely uncalled for, and quite imature. If you, or any of the rest of you wish to continue this, pm me and I would be happy to refer you to a very active debate group. This is not the place for religious debates.

Oh, and the Canadians did actually have an "invasion force" at the beaches of Normandy. However, I must agree that they did very little in the grand skeem of things. Sorry if someone already said that, but I don't feel like going through every single page of this topic.

The Canadians still did more than the states, Canada fought WW2 from begining to end, while the USA didn't fight the war untill they got bombed a couple years later!

I keep seeing this come up, and I thought I would post something you guys might want to think about. The Ark is on Earth, and thus indicating that Earth has a great deal of significance to the Forerunner, possibly even as their planet of origin. Thus all years would be interpreted in a similar fassion as we do. Not fact, but something to think about.

Dinosaurs are not sentient life, so obviously they are not dead which means that there might be dinosaurs on the rings, covenant home worlds and other planets.
