Anyway, I don't think Earth would be able to go into slipspace, it doesn't have a slipspace drive and it would require massive energy. Plus the fact that the climate would change (maybe).

The very largest objects to go through slipspace (as far as we know) is under 5 miles long. It is also known that gravity affects slipspace similarly to realspace. Finally, we'd have problems if we didn't take the Moon with us.

There was a major climate change about 100,000 years ago. We know it as the Ice Age. The Activation wouldn't take long but it might be long enough to disturb the climate. Though how the Covenant managed to survive as well is beyond my understanding. 100,000 year is a little short for so many alien races to evolve to a point where they can join into the Covenant.
