I think that if you stick somebody then a sea of red should shower out from what used to be a human body.

As for the enviroment I want to be pinned down and then blow a hole in the wall then use it to flank the enemy. Or a complex series of tunnels with hidden openings that are used to snatch unsuspecting grunts...

well, it doesn't really matter that much. but yeah if it was a bit more destructable besides one truck and one wall it would be pretty cool.

Wow so dark and gritty just like halo 3 is is alleged to be like.
Look as far as blood and gore go it has to within reasonable limits without bodies bieng ripped apart.
I want to be able to set the warthhog on fire just like in GTA and then have it blow up. I want to be able to see the grunts blow up if we hit those tanks on there back which is annoyinglly protected by armor. *pats shotgun*

well, I would like complete destructibility, such as blowing an underground tunnel together with a bunch of rockets, but that level of destructibility just isnt sensible.

I dont mind the whole bodies being ripped apart thing. I like gore, but I think that would probably cause problems with the -blamed- up pacifist community. If they do make the bodies fully destructible I dont think that you should be able to mutilate them after the person is dead. only when they are alive. I might spend to much time just doing that. And even I think that that might be a little over the top.

Real time battle damage on the character's isnt neaded. Maybe helmets can fall off or something like that, but not too detialed. I would rather have destructible environments than have my suit take damage when i cant see it because im in FP.

I think that characters should not be incredibly destructible, but the environments should have a degree of destructibility. Say in MP, instead of going into the front door of the base, you could shoot the wall out with the scorpion or wriath and then proceed through that new entrance. Or, you could blow the turrets off of vehicles rather than destroy them completely. You could shoot out tires and make them run slower, or blow up a key point of a structure and bring it crumpling to the ground.

That would be more useful than damage on the characters.

We have you surrounded... at least from this side.

most everyone who has played black loves its destructible elements... it'd be perfect to shoot a rafter out and have it crush a bunch of brutes coming at you

or have a grenade bring a pillar down on a jackal sniper

it doese'nt look nextgen , looks good but not nextgen
If by next-gen you mean crappy, dark and colorless, I agree. It doesnt look next-gen at all.

If i cant get through the entrance to pick up a flag, i want to make my own entrance.

Meh, i dont really care abut destructible enviroments, as long as i can see bodies all around. I also liked that in halo 1 you could melee a dead jackal and you could paint the walls and floor purple.
