Subject: The newish Brutes

If 4 out of 5 people suffer from constipation, does that mean the 5th one enjoys it???

OK well in the behind the scenes trailer it shows Brutes with some type of jetpack like what the Elites had in Halo 2. Just wanted to put that out there if nobody else posted this.

if my memory serves me correctly, elites did not have jetpacks or anything of the like in halo 1 or 2.

The only thing about those 'Brutes'
Is that they were slouched over like grunts.
Not standing back like Brutes in Halo 2.
But that could be because of the Armor or just a change in Animation Style.

Did I not show you that first Crow? Tsk tsk. Stealer of ideas.

Anyway, my point was, their snouts don't protrude like a Brutes and their arms seem a bit like grunts.. As well as their posture. They just don't seem to be Brutes, but I could be wrong.

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed, knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each brave fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives: not men, or flags.

Get a pic ppl with a 5 megapixle camera then we can all see it properly. I would do this but I don't have a 360 but do have the camera. Then we can see if this is the creature that frankie was talking about.

Drinnol

Was that even a serious comment? Drinols are liek two stories tall and are made to smash vehicles. Those little things are smaller than elites.

Those dont look like brutes at all IMO, not bulky enough, and they ahve wierd heads.

I agree with prophet warrir things.

No, no it wasn't, but it is just an easy answer and their not 2 stories tall. Alpha Grunts are two stories tall....>_>

Sir, your use of the words "post haste" have me shaking where I stand.. Err, sit. I'd be able to hear you more clearly if you didn't have to talk up so often..

;)

No, with all respect, I don't understand your posts.

there is a really good possibility that it isn't a brute because in an update frankie was talking abuot how he faced a group of grunts and something that was bigger than a grunt. The thing that was bigger was just left as that, something bigger?

But also it could be a jetpack because of the fact that the brutes overtook the elites and the jetpack might have been some special thing for the protectors of the prophets.

New character? I have no idea, but it could be.

Then I will lay it out for you. This topic, and the hundreds like it always talk about Grunt, or Brute. Given Frankies statement "and something bigger than grunts" coupled with the fact that he didn't say exactly what it was, it is easier to render a responce of something "bigger than a grunt" that we haven't seen yet. Therefore one of two decisions seem applicable "Drinnol" or "Flood Juggernaught". However, since we know what a Flood Juggernaught looks like, the more obvious would be the first. Thusly, my primary responce to these threads is simply "Drinnol" as you saw. Just makes things easier.

Heeeeey, I don't talk up to people. I talk at them, just sometimes from a foot stool. =P

Ah, now I see your strange reasoning behind such posts.. Of course, many things are bigger than grunts.. Except Joe Staten.

A Brute would be taller and have a bigger physique including fur. Creature has reptillian skin.

An Elite isn't that short, and it's arm length is longer and bigger. The helmet resemble an Elite's head contours though but don't see mandibles.

A Grunt's forearm is huge. The creature's forearm is skinny.

There's a Brute in the background beside the Prophet. It almost looks like he's running up trying to defend the Prophet to me...

Prophet? What? I think you're looking a bit too hard.. Those are all the same creature, one has different/no armor.. I don't think it's a part of the game, it just looks like a test room.. Much like that cherished and beloved "Dirt Room".

Yeah, Flood Infection Forms are bigger than Joe Staten.
