Subject: Finish the fights that you started in Halo 1!?

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

We heard this in the Halo 3 documtary, but what does it mean?

I have come up with two theories for this!

1. Falsamee/The Arbiter:
In "The Flood" novel "Falsamee" was the commander of The fleet that followed the "Pillar Of Autumn" through slipspace to Halo in the first game,.

Many specualte that the Gold Elite in the third mission in Halo 1 was "Falsamee", but I doubt it.

That room where the Gold Elite was in was not really The Bridge/ Control Center, it was just the security HQ/Command Center.

Plus "Falsamee" was more likely meating with the lesser Prothet that appeared in "The Flood" Novel in another ship while The Master Chief was rescuing Captain Keyes.

So maybe when Bungie says "you will be finishing the fights that you started in Halo 1" that means you might have to kill The Arbiter.

2. 343 Guilty Spark: If you remember in "Halo 1" the "Master Chief" fails to kill "Guilty Spark" in the explosion at the end of "Halo 1", while Guilty Spark may seem innocent now what if he betrayes everyone at "The Ark" so he can activate the remaining rings so he can fullfill his duties and make up for his mistakes in "Halo 1".

It's possible but it would only happen if the humans refuse to activate "The Ark" due to the fact that "Guilty Spark" still needs to follow protecole.

What do you guys think of this theory?

The 1st one is a big stretch, and the second really isnt too big a deal. 343 GS is in the hands of the covenant, and was left at High Charity. Earth and High Charity are quite far off from each other.

I know this might not be true (most likely it won't happen) but I've been thinking about this alot lately.

It fits in a way but we don't rally know what Bungie means.

think about fights began in halo 1, as what happens from the moment you begin campaign... so... humanity had problems with covenants before halo 1, so you wont finish the fight against the covenant..., but humanity meet the flood, and fought the flood, so youll kill the flood for sure, you also began to destroy, or stop activating the halos, so youll finish deactivating all of them.... maybe getting the 7 indexes and destroying em in mount doom or something :P

What other fights you began in halo 1? maybe cortana fighting her bad side, she looks really evil in halo 2, look at her closely, and she began acting weird from the very first moment she made contact with halo main computer, hiding things, doubting and... well... you know her.... suspictious... so probably cortana will me formatted deleted, or dropped to the recycle bin :P

Remember they say...... youll finish ALL the fights that you started in halo 1

Knowing Bungie.... theyll come up with something like.... you began playing halo... so youll finish playing halo..... duh -.-

i like this one. i remember GS saying that if he cant get MC to do it, he'll hafta find someone else. and he doesnt seem to treasure the precious "reclaimers" he kinda treats them more like items than people
