What I would want:
*H1 armour, but with the brown plates coloured green.
*More "personal" Marines, i.e. those Australian hats with corks hanging from them, headbands, tattoos (and make the tattoos worhwhile seeing as how this is going to be on the 360 and all), scars.
*This is more of an all-round game wish, but nevertheless it still applies for the Marines; make them so they have a fighting chance in Legendary, not only make them smarter and aggressive for this difficulty but there duration should be upped. I like how they had health bars in H1, but maybe give them an "invisible" shield? By this I mean a shield that is basically in the programming and that you can't see it, but make it sort of like the Marine has bearings so he can handle a torrent of plasma as he scrambles for cover. Then once this is down, the Marine is vulnerable.
*This is another all-round wish, but make Marines only drive the Warthog if you're in the passenger seat or have taken the gunner position, and for god's sake better driving A.I.!
*An English Marine for once, and one that doesn't have a generic accent, maybe give him a Scouse accent that isn't a comedy one. Hell, I'd be happy to get a Scottish Marine too.
What I don't want for Marines:
*Commands, sure the D-Pad is useless, and D-Pads are growing more and more obsolete now, but at first the idea of using the D-Pad to issue commands seemed really good to me. But now that I think about it, the gameplay wouldn't be so smooth and it would actually be quite awkward. All I really want a Marine to do is to be able to kill and look after himself, and he if has a Sniper Rifle I want him to get away from the squad of Marines holding Assault Rifles who are engaging the enemy on-foot while he sits back and snipes the enemy; remember that one Sniper Marine in the rockslide in the second level of H1? He just stayed at the edge and sniped. Also, if a Marine has a Rocket Launcher I'd like it if he only fired it in large open spaces and when no allies where in front of him.
